More is NOT better with thermal compound. The point of thermal compound is to bridge any minute irregularities in the surfaces of the CPU top and the heatsink, and you should only use enough to achieve that. Ideally you would have straight metal-to-metal contact. But it takes some effort to achieve perfectly flat and smooth surfaces on the CPU and heatsink, and *quality* thermal compound achieves a close second-best.

Answer:	Ultimately it would depend on particular motherboard max amperage per 4 pin output compared to total fan amperage load. In reality, 3 120mm, (or) 2 140mm +1 120mm combinations I have down with no problems with a Gigabyte B450 Aorus board. If you need more fans on one header than that, better to get a case with better airflow!

Answer:	daisy chaining in general is not a good idea, as motherboard might get fried. Use Arctic PWM hub! ;)

Answer:	This wont fit, no matter what backplate you buy. This is for TR40 and TRX40 Threadripper chips, it is about twice as long as a standard Ryzen CPU, so the mounting is way different. These dont even use backplates, they screw directly into the socket.
