Answer:	I suppose you could put CDs in it, but the interior has been designed for an external optical drive. It has an elastic band on one side to stabilize and contain the drive itself. On the other half there is a shallow mesh barrier to hold things like cords or even one or two disks. The zipper has two tabs and can open 3/4 of the case, leaving the hinged edge and carrying strap attached. It is semi-rigid and I found it to be excellent for its original intent. For carrying CD, not so much.

Answer:	This works, but if you do not have the correct port, you have to get an adapter for around 20 bucks. My macbook pro needed a USB Type-C hub pro to use the apiker external drive.

Answer:	Sorry for late response, we were out of town. External dimensions 7" wide x 7" deep x 2.25" high. Internal dimensions 6.5" wide x 6.5" deep. Lid is split into halves each 1" x 1" high. One half for DVD with a holding strap, the other half has a net for other accessories. Hope this helps.

Answer:	yes, when it is open 1 side has a nylon net to hold ...whatever and then on the other side it is only a band across the middle. The interior depth I believe would deep enough if the other player is no thicker than the dvd/cd writer.

Question:	Does this work with windows
Answer:	It should work with Windows 8 though I only used with Windows 10. If you insert a DVD and a video player does not start up, you may need a player that will recognize the drive. On a recommendation from a friend, I installed "VLC media player" and this app opens when I insert a DVD into the Riodadas player. VLC is a free and open source media player that works with all Windows versions. You can get the player here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Question:	Can this be used to install windows 10 without the need to somehow install a driver first? it's rather tough to do that when trying to install an os
Answer:	This is basically a laptop optical drive in an external case with USB connection. I would think so. If the installation disk contains the installation software and the computer can access a USB device then it should. Changes to the boot device may be required.

Question:	Will this hold an apple usb superdrive
Answer:	It doesn't matter. I have my wifi router in port 1, just for simplicity sake. It works great. Very happy with the switch, only comment is the fan is slightly louder than most switches I have used. But being a POE switch allows me to use a IP phone with no adapter.
