Answer:	Yes, after downgrading my firmware to 1.00 MakeMKV like everyone says, it still could not decrypt the disc. I also tried AnyDVD and it couldn't either. The firmware downgrade worked because I successfully performed a rip with DVDFab with no issues whatsoever. Unfortunately, AnyDVD and MakeMKV haven't figured it out yet.

Answer:	All the optical drive has limits (3-5 times) on changing region code. Most often, we only play specific dvd or blu-ray movies discs like Region 1 (US). changing region code Frequently is not allowed.

Answer:	It should work with Windows 8 though I only used with Windows 10. If you insert a DVD and a video player does not start up, you may need a player that will recognize the drive. On a recommendation from a friend, I installed "VLC media player" and this app opens when I insert a DVD into the Riodadas player. VLC is a free and open source media player that works with all Windows versions. You can get the player here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Answer:	So far I haven't seen or had any problems with my LG Blu-ray burner since I upgraded to Windows 10 Professional. It's running pretty great with no driver issues. Plus I didn't have to install or add any drivers for this Blu-ray burner. So I would say, Yes, It will work with Windows 10 just fine. :)

Question:	Does this play all 3D blu ray discs
Answer:	Theoretically, it should play all 3D discs since all 3D discs are 2D discs with an extra angle for the left or right eye.
Question:	comes with installation CD for Mac
Answer:	I just emailed them with that question. What i am really wondering, is what I paid $149 for, instead of getting the one that cost $116. haha But, the stuff on the disc cannot be installed on a Mac. It is in .exe format. So, no go there.
Question:	Does it work with windows
Answer:	Th good news is that it works fine with Win10 and Win10 Pro. The bad news is that it is mechanically a very odd machine and difficult to use. The strange-shaped on-off switch on the back is hard to use and inconvenient. The front right corner "button" that opens-closes the disc tray is very hard to see & use, works sometimes, other times only with great difficulty. Very peculiar designed machine, and I have relegated it to a distant, seldom used #3 of my 3 Blu-ray recorder-players.
Question:	Can you just play Blue Ray movies in it
Answer:	Long reply ahead, but this is useful information for anyone new to Blu Ray on PC. Unlike DVD and CD before it, Blu-ray is built with some pretty hefty encryption designed to stop piracy. To (legally) decrypt Blu-ray movies, a programmer needs to pay exorbitant fees to Sony. Cyberlink and various other companies pay this fee, and ironically, Microsoft has to pay it for every XBox One they make. So, every Blu-ray drive for PC has to make a choice: bundle a copy of some program that owns a Blu-ray license, or just deal with only being a backup solution for a small price decrease. No Blu-ray drive is going to play Blu-ray movies out of the box. You can spend $20 or $200+, but you still need licensed software to play the movies. Unfortunately, the best choice right now is Cyberlink and their PowerDVD. Alternatively, they're *are* programs out there that let you simply copy or rip the Blu-ray, but those are of questionable legality and usually require an expensive ($100+ per year) subscription. If all you're after is something to play movies, I really just recommend a $60 4k Blu-ray player or a PS4/XBox One. PowerDVD runs $60 here in Amazon, so you'd be paying the same for a physical device as you would a piece of code.
