Answer:	This is a nice unit. I am not 100% sure about 8 computers, I only had 4 server to hook up and did without purchasing anything else. I do have a bunch of cables remaining so I believe the answer will be yes, you can hook up 8 computers without any issues.

Question:	The trackpad does not work, how do I get it to work
Answer:	If the track pad works only after a full power cycle of the Tripplite unit, then the issue is with the USB driver. Unplug the USB from the back and then reconnect it as it re-initializes it and the trackpad will work again. This is a common problem with all three of the units i purchased.
Question:	Hi, is possible to move it between datacenters ? I mean, I would need an extra pairs of rail for moving the device. Are there compatible rails
Answer:	Yes. You can move them side to side, but you would need to order another pair of rear brackets. The rear brackets are removable not the front.
Question:	Wondering if this unit is 19" wide? As the model number on tripplite site says it is 19" but on this page you have width as
Answer:	It is 19" wide and does fit a standard 19" cabinet. You should have a server cabinet because of the depth.
Question:	How many servers can you connect to this KVM Rack Console
Answer:	This is just a console. You can only connect it to one. What you want to do is connect this to a kvm switch and the number of servers depends on what you get. Some are 2, 4, 8, 16, etc.

Question:	Great product, but is there any instance where a traditional crash cart would be better than this
Answer:	I've used this console to install quite a bit of equipment. It's great, because I never know if there will be a crash cart where I'm going. I would say that the only advantage to a crash cart would be that you could leave it attached and unattended without leaving your laptop behind. So, say if you needed a local facilities person to click "finish" for you or something like that, you could leave a crash cart attached. I've never run into a situation where I wish I had a crash cart instead of this console though. I suppose the other advantage to a crash cart is that it comes with it's own table. I've had to sit on the floor a few times with my laptop in a cage where the customer didn't have any furniture.

Answer:	This unit does not have any locking nor latching mechanism. It seems to simply be hinged shut by some spring resistant hinges. You could clamp/lock it with external accessories - but it does not come with anything to lock/latch it closed.

Answer:	It is tool-less, no additional hardware (cage nuts or screws) is required.

OPTION 2 - Requires Part# 1URRK mounting brackets for a 2 Post center mount solution.
