Answer:	...Griffen, he was the original o.g, the triple diple o.g, the double o. capital .g, the Ompa Oprah talk show host of his time! HEEEERRRRRRREEEEE'SSSSS...MERV!! I'm just kidding! It stands for; "Minimum Efficiency Rating Value" There are 1-16 ratings with "1" being the worst and " 16" of course being the best! I tend to get the MERV11 in a 4" thick pleated filter because it traps everything I'm most worried about like dust, mites, pet dander, bacterias, allergic pollen and when my daughter cooks or burns something in the oven, kitchen smoke! Keeping all that "sheet" out of the distribution process of hot/cold air being deposited throughout the many registers in my house not only protects my family, but it helps to prolong the system and house by keeping it all clean and dust free!! Don't skimp when it comes to selecting that MERV rated filter or you may end up replacing more than just the filter. Read the specs on the system you own to be sure you're using the correct size filter and change it every six months or less depending on your environment.

Answer:	You would need to purchase a very special type of filter if yours is 4 inches typically those are made by Honeywell international you do not ever stack filters together you will ruin your blower motor because of the back pressure it will create trying to push through four separate filters versus one specially designed for inch filter

Answer:	It's held on by a nut and a bolt I guess you would say so all you need is a pair of needle nose pliers, it's not designed to be removed but you can remove it, I took it off of mine and it was about a 30 second job and then you can always put it back on if you want with the same needle nose pliers. It's as easy as unscrewing a nut

Answer:	Yes it does. Loosen the tilt screw, which is also the main hang hinge. I have 4 of these fans. Honestly, some of my fans tilt more than others. They don't tilt 90 degrees. One of my fans tilts maybe 45 degrees. Another fan will only tilt 15 degrees. I don't know what the manufacture tilt is supposed to be. When I try to tilt my 15 degree fan more, it seems like it wants to break. Ouch!
Question:	How many watts does it consume
Answer:	The 6" clip fan uses 13 Watts on hi and 9 Watts on low, I just measured it. The 65 Watts quoted in the other answer must be for a different size fan.

Answer:	Probably not much....the SUNY has a few more patterns. I can’t speak for the SUNY but I have had this one of over a year and use it 3 or 4 hours a night 3 or 4 times a week. Still working as good as new. I have it mounted outside under a porch roof too. I love mine!

Answer:	It isnt loud at all. I have it in my greenhouse and occasionally look up to make sure it is working because I cannot hear it. As for it working in your guest room, I guess that would depend on the size of area you are trying to vent and shade ouside, etc. I am venting a 10X12 greenhouse in full sun and more than likely i will add another one this year.
