Awhile back I bought a 128GB microSD card to use in an Android tablet that says the largest card it can take is 32GB. 32GB cards typically come pre-formatted FAT32 and cards higher come pre-formatted EXFAT. Windows can't natively format partitions larger than 64GB as FAT32 but third-party software is available for free that can. I reformatted the 128GB card as FAT32 and it works fine. That version of Android doesn't recognize EXFAT. (Before I bought the card I knew I would probably need to reformat it.) |

Then try to save something on the card from the computer. If it saves ok, then format the card on the computer again and then put it into the camera. Try to format the card in the camera. Then take a few pictures and see what happens. If it still doesn't work, then the card is defective and should be replaced.... |

The write speed and read speed is important but this is a UHS II which means when ure working on the file its going to be much faster than the sandisk extreme pro UHS I And for professional use 1000x beat out the sandisk extreme pro. Thats why this sdcards more expensive than the extreme pro. I have mostly 5 extreme pro sandisk and 2 of these 1000x and while the sandisk sometimes gives me corrupted files the 1000x not once failed transferring into the pc. and not many UHS II cards out. For taking photos and videos this card is much better and pricer For just using it on phones or video games the sandisk is cheaper and works great. But professional people in the photo area all use lexar |

| Answer: | The older answers here may apply to larger perhaps older 150MB/s models of what I am testing. I just received the 150 MB/s 16GB SD card, and its label say 40MB/s write speed on it. So it may depend on what size you receive with the larger chips perhaps able to write to the larger amount faster. Testing in real life though I am seeing 40-45MB/s only when transferring large gig sized files. with 4-8MB files like photos im seeing 4-8MB/s write speeds and only 20MB/s read speeds on photo sized 4-8MB files and I only achieve 155 MB/s writing very large files. MUCH slower than my many older lexar Pro cards. This card does not deserve the "Pro" label. |

| Answer: | This is a UHS-II card while the 95 MB/s card is a UHS-I card. They are for different devices and only work in slower compatibility mode if they don't match your device. There are very few UHS-II cameras right now that can take advantage of the speed of this card. With a UHS-II reader and USB 3.0 connection to your computer, download speeds should be much faster. I'd expect real life speeds of 70 MB/s write speed with the Sandisk 95 MB/s card in a UHS-I camera and the same speed for this Lexar card in a UHS-I camera, but cameras vary and the speed may be slower. I expect 150-200 MB/s speeds for this Lexar card in the Nikon D500 while the Sandisk card will probably still be 70 MB/s. |

| Answer: | Write speed depends on the device you use it in. In the included USB 3.0 USB-II reader I measured 272.6 MB/s write speed (CrystalDiskMark benchmark sequential write 1GB random data). In UHS-I mode (in non-UHS-II devices) it measured between 90-94MB/s sequential write. |

| Answer: | Somewhat. The D750 does not support UHS-II, so you won't get faster write speeds (or in-camera review / editing) than with any decent UHS-I card (like Lexar's own 633x cards, which are less than a third the price at time of writing). While the 2000x cards will perform more consistently w.r.t. long bursts, your D750 isn't particularly demanding in that respect so the difference would likely be imperceptible.However, given an appropriate UHS-II reader for your computer, you might appreciate the much faster imports from the card. The 2000x cards can provide read rates three times higher than any UHS-I card, which can reduce your import times e.g. for a full 64 GiB card, from ~11 minutes down to ~4. However, your computer's storage might become the bottleneck first - e.g. if you're using a regular hard disk drive, you likely won't be able to write your photos to it much faster than a UHS-I card can read, so you won't see nearly as dramatic a benefit (though loading thumbnails & previews in apps like Lightroom will still be significantly faster). If you have a suitable RAID system, or an SSD, as your photo / video destination, then you should be able to utilise the full read speed of these cards when importing your media.The other factor to consider is future-proofing, as it's likely that whatever camera you replace your D750 with will support UHS-II cards.And thus it falls to you to determine your own preferences, w.r.t. the value of faster imports, & future-proofing. |

UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V60 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V60. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.
To help protect against accidental file deletion, there is a built-in write protect switch. To further safeguard against possible data loss, users can download free Image Rescue software that is designed to recover most photo and video files.
