12 best 4gb compact flash cards
A 4GB CompactFlash (CF) card is a type of memory card commonly used in various electronic devices, especially in older digital cameras and industrial equipment. Here's some information about 4GB CompactFlash cards:
Storage Capacity: A 4GB CompactFlash card provides 4 gigabytes of storage capacity. This can hold a significant amount of data, including photos, videos, and documents, but it may not be sufficient for modern high-resolution media files.
Format: CompactFlash cards use the CompactFlash Type we format. They are relatively compact and robust, making them suitable for use in demanding environments.
Speed: The speed of a CompactFlash card can vary depending on the model and manufacturer. Some 4GB CF cards may have slower read and write speeds compared to more modern memory card formats, such as SD or microSD cards.
Usage: 4GB CompactFlash cards were popular in digital cameras and camcorders in the past. However, due to their limited capacity compared to newer memory card formats, they may not be suitable for high-definition or 4K video recording or modern cameras with larger image files.
Compatibility: To use a 4GB CompactFlash card, you need a device that supports the CompactFlash format. Many older digital cameras and some industrial equipment have CompactFlash card slots.
Availability: 4GB CompactFlash cards are no longer commonly manufactured or widely available. As technology has progressed, larger-capacity memory cards like 32GB, 64GB, and even 128GB or more have become the norm.
Data Transfer: To transfer data between a CompactFlash card and a computer, you typically need a CompactFlash card reader or an adapter. These devices allow you to connect the CF card to a computer's USB port for data transfer.
Please note that while 4GB CompactFlash cards were once popular and useful, they may not meet the storage needs of modern devices. If you have specific questions about using or purchasing a 4GB CompactFlash card, feel free to ask.

Question: | will this work in eos rebel ds |
Answer: | That is the exact same camera I have and it works great. |
Question: | does it work with nikon d |

Question: | I just purchased a Canon 7D and own zero compact flash memory cards so I'm trying to find the best fit for this camera (for photography and video |

Question: | What type of reader can be used with this card |
Answer: | I'm unfamiliar with the Fantom X as I play the electric guitar. However, in reviewing http://lib.roland.co.jp/support/en/manuals/res/1811531/Fantom-X678_r_eA.pdf, page 5 says it will accept CompactFlash memory cards. However, per http://www.musiciansfriend.com/resources/article/Roland-Fantom-X/m711821, it appears the keyboard has a PC card slot for data backup with a 1GB capacity so assuming this is a standard socket, you'd only be able to use 1GB of the 8GB available on the Transcend CompactFlash. Regarding speed, I use mine in a Canon camera capable of producing 6 raw frames a second so this should be no problem in the Roland environment.Note that my response is not a wholesale blessing for the use of the subject Transcend CompactFlash memory card, but it appears it will work though you'd only be able to use 12% of its capacity (1GB of 8GB). Hope this helps. Good luck. |

Question: | Will it work with a Lenovo 720 idealpad |
Answer: | Yes, the USB-C card reader will work with a Lenovo 720 Ideapad if it comes with a USB Type-C port. Best regards, UNITEK Customer Service |
Question: | I wanted a reader to look at pictures on my phone from my hunting cameras will this work for that |
Answer: | Well it depends on the type of camera and phone that you have. Assuming your hunting camera has a storage device that fits into this adapter (which is very likely) which will plug into your phone (which is the type c adapter and unlikely your phone has that port). Should your phone receive the male end of this product then it should be no problem. I have found that androids and iPhones neither have this port. But I plug this into my computer and it automatically sends the photos to my phone. Tough call. |
Question: | Does anyone know if this works with a Sandisk IPod |
Answer: | Works for SD and microSD. If the memory is integrated into your device, then I am afraid you can do so much. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I have a canon eos rebel xti...will this work in it |
Answer: | I had purchased a PIXELFLASH usb 3.0 years ago from Amazon. It's one that the pins do not bend (which was the problem I had with my first reader). Here's the link. https://www.amazon.com/PixelFlash-No-Bend-Tactical-SuperSpeed-Compact/dp/B005IMFX2K/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_3?crid=3ABW5DV2K09CS&keywords=pixelflash+no-bend+pins+usb+3+cf+card+reader&qid=1558380432&s=gateway&sprefix=pixelflash%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-3-fkmrnull Others I had purchased, name brands like Kodak, etc., the pins would bend and only last a couple months. I take these cards in and out of the reader 4-6 times per week and have had no issues whatsoever. |
Question: | is this a type 2 cf card |
Answer: | The camera specs say the camera supports up to 8GB. Anything higher then 2GB however can slow the camera boot time, due to the camera reading a more complex file system. Basic funtions, lag has been reported, yet others say it is not noticeable enough to be an issue.A 16GB card if used, the camera can only format 8GB and use 8GB only of the 16.Hope this helps! |
