Answer:	As long as the printer has a USB 2.0 interface, the DS-510 will work with your printer. You have to load the Silex Virtual Link software on your PC in order for your PC to be able to connect to your printer over your network. Just to be sure, you also need to load the rollo printer driver on the PC that you plan to access it from. If you need any support to install your printer with the DS-510, please go to the Silex Technology website and search for DS-510. There is an installation guide that will help you and the Silex Virtual Link software is also located there as well.

Answer:	My guess would be yes, have tried four models of these and all work flawless in all sorts of odd applications, only thing that changes in newer models is transfer speed, all use same client software. Super awsome/clever little device, computer acts like is a local usb port. only thing that would make better is if were poe powered. But if you are trying to turn one dongle license into ten then no it wont do that, think about it, can you have ten clrents writing to a burner at once. But at least you could have all dongles in one secure place where wont get lost, when a client needs one just connect to the next availabe one on the list and then release when done, so could still potentially reduce number of dongles that you need.

To your computer, anything connected uses a USB driver on your computer: if you plug your NTFS drive into your PC and it works it should work connected to the DS-510 as well. Software runs in your PC that connects with the 510 firmware. Of course latency and throughput will conform to the USB level, distance between drive and PC, ethernet infrastructure capacity, etc. Advantages: drive and PC connection range extended plus any PC on your network can access the drive (but only one PC at a time).

Since SysRq is just a key sequence represented by a binary sequence, as long as your source device doesn't intercept it, it will come out at the remote RS232 interface.

If you need more flexibility than that, take a look at the Cradlepoint IBR600LPE series, they can be flashed remotely if you use their Enterprise Cloud Manager.
