I am using this mouse right now and have replaced every mouse for each laptop and desktop in my home with this relatively cheap, but excellent mouse. I work online and have to have a mouse that fits my small hands well and one that is ergonomically sound - this is that mouse! I never have to re-click, as this mouse works perfectly.

Answer:	Saying if you don't have Win98/ME/XP/2000/7, it will not work properly or at all is inaccurate. It is a standard USB mouse. It will work properly with any system designed to use a USB mouse. USB mice are incredibly standardized. Even the gaming mice with many extra functions will work fine as a standard mouse in just about any system, you will simply be unable to use their extra functions on unsupported systems or when not using their custom software. USB mice probably won't work with Android (or any phone) because it is completely geared for touchscreen. But Linux, Windows 8/10, Mac? They should all work fine.Edit: Just tested my own mini mouse with my Motorola Droid Ultra cell phone, worked perfectly fine. It does take a USB OTG (On The Go) cable to adapt from the full-size male plug of the mouse to the micro-size female plug of the phone, but I plugged it in and it instantly worked perfectly fine. My mouse isn't Verbatim brand but, as I said above, that's incredibly irrelevant.

Answer:	The cord is 24 inches and you can control how much you want pulled out. I usually keep my cord at just a few inches long, but it depends on where I put the laptop.The cord has a locking mechanism so you pull it to the length you want, it locks and stays there til you pull it to release the lock and it tries to coil back into itself.
