Answer:	The biggest benefit is that only the Logitech has an elastic loop to hold an Apple Pencil. Also, the adjustable stand flap gives you a range of viewing angles, while the Apple case gives you one viewing angle. The Logitech case is hard plastic, while the Apple product is leather. Both have keyboards that have a good feel, but they are different. The Logitech keyboard is backlit; the Apple keyboard is not. Incidentally, be sure you buy only the Logitech Slim Combo case, with a manufacture date in spring 2018 or later. Earlier versions, and a previous model keyboard/case, had some bugs. I am completely satisfied with my mid-2018 Logitech case!
