Google "usb 3.0 2.4 ghz interference" and read up. It can definitely cause the lag problem. Bottom line- don't plug your nano-receiver into or anywhere near a USB 3 port. If you have no choice, use a USB extension for the nano-receiver. It's not the distance between your keyboard and the receiver, it's the distance between your nano-receiver and any USB 3 port.

Question:	Is there any way to not have to press the function button to use the function keys
Answer:	If you press the function key and escape key at the same time, it will lock it so you don’t have to press the function button for the F keys. This is temporary. If the keyboard goes to sleep it will have to be locked again.
