Answer:	The keyboard is on with batteries there's no on or off switch. The mouse uses a click or spin off a button to wake it up. Also no on or off switch.

Answer:	There's a panel (on the bottom side of the keyboard) that opens to reveal a removable insert that you then plug into the USB port on the back of your android box. It's suppose to then communicate by wifi with the keyboard. I could never get mine to work so I sent it back. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is the difference between the 2,4g rf style and the bluetooth style
Answer:	The "2.4g" uses a proprietary dongle and communication. The advantage is it's not dependent on what you plug it into having much of any special protocols built in. So it mostly just works (dongle looks like USB keyboard). The Bluetooth is also on 2.4g rf. Really. It is. But Bluetooth has a protocol associate with it. On one hand most modern devices have bluetooth built in - so you need no special dongle for it to work. Such as my new X900E TV. On the other hand if your device doesn't have bluetooth, or perhaps a really old version, then you would need to buy a Bluetooth dongle. So there is no frequency difference . If your device has bluetooth built in - then buy the bluetooth version and enjoy not having to worry about another dongle. You will have to go into device pairing mode and pair it. Then it should just work. If your device doesn't have bluetooth built in - then you need the "non bluetooth" version and need to use the dongle. Bluetooth is also pretty good about "channel hopping" to avoid interference. Hard to say how anybody elses's "2.4g" implementation does or does not do. So preference to bluetooth if an option.

Answer:	YES! I bought this for my HTPC which is running Ubuntu 12.04. This unit was plug-and-play with zero configuration required. It works flawlessly on my HTPC.

Answer:	Not very specific as a question, but I think what you're wondering is how it works. I use it with a ps4 right now, but I'd imagine all systems work about the same. Basically it comes with a plug and cable for charging the battery and a separate dongle to connect over wifi. You plug that dongle (remove the device's backplate and its a little dongle snapped in a holder) into your system and then turn the device on. When you want to charge it, you plug it into a usb port connected to the cable and let it charge. Plugging the USB cable to charge will not bridge a connection to use the device, but plugging the little wifi dongle in should connect it automatically.

Question:	Is it possible to "click and drag" with this? Seems like on many games or using File Explorer that would be needed
Answer:	I have used it with windows 10 and I'm able to highlight, click and drag n drop. So far, this has been able to do virtually everything a keyboard and mouse has been able to do with my pc. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm not sure what the context of your question is. Who or what told you that you need an OTG cable and for what purpose? If all you want to do is charge the keyboard, you just need a normal USB A to USB micro B charging cable. Plug the A side into your charging port on your pc or into an eletrical socket to usb adapter or a power bank and the micro B side into the keyboard. OTG is not necessary for charging. Also when talking about a host cable, that just means it has a plug on one side (usually the A side) that is intended to plug into a PC or an android device and have that device act as the primary device in the connection, like when transferring data. Basically any usb cable with a normal A side and a Micro B side is technically a host cable. The only other aspect to be aware of is if you need a male A plug or a female A plug and that is determined by what you are plugging into. For your purpose, probably an male A plug is what you want. Usually the terminology about host isn't used outside of talking about phones as all normal USB PC cables are also generally host cables so the distinction isn't very useful in that space. I looked at some of the other reviews that mentioned OTG specifically and the only reference I can find to it is about using it with something like an amazon fire stick. Basically a fire stick doesn't provide enough power for the keyboard adapter by itself so you need an OTG cable usb hub with a power adapter plug to provide external power to anything plugged into the fire stick. Without knowing why you believe that you need an OTG cable I can't answer any better than that but hopefully some part of all that answers your question.

Answer:	They work the same as any usb keyboard with the same buttons. Most media players have the commands set up internally so they should work as advertised. I use vlc media player and it utilizes the buttons just fine, though my device doesn't have a play pause button so I just use the space button instead. Volume controls affect the pc, not the player though I think

Answer:	No pause/play and fast forward buttons on this and left cluster doesnt do it either. But it still is a very good device.

When you turn on the keyboard,the blue LED Will stay on,that means the keyboard has paired with your device.

If the Blue LED does not stay on and keeps flashing,it means the keyboard was not paired with your device.As for how to pair,please try following steps:

<1>Press ESC button and turn on the keyboard at the same time,then release the ESC button and the BLue LED will flash fast.

<2>Plug into the USB dongle,the flashing blue LED will become solid on once paired with success within 60 seconds.If it pairs for the first time,you can repeat Step1-2 again.Please make sure the keyboard is fully charged before pairing。

Answer:	Hi, unfortunately this unit doesn’t have FCC ID number.
Question:	Remote randomly starts blinking yellow while I am using it and it prohibits me from doing anything until it stops and goes back to blue? Ideas
Answer:	I have this device, it works great but usually it have poor signal range. That is why it blinks yellow for reconnecting or when the battery is low.
Question:	Does it require line of site to work? My Nvidia Shield is behind a wooden cabinet
Answer:	Hello there,To be honest, the Rii uses an RF (Radio Frequency) signal. That means, that a wooden cabinet might allow the signals to pass through. Keep in mind, that certain hardwoods might provide be less accomodating. But the amont of interference will depend on how encased the Nvidia Shield is. If there is only a wooden panel on one or even on two or three sides, the signals likely will still arrive unhindered. Hope this answers your question. Cheers.
Question:	mine came without a manual does any one know how to get one l have tried everything no luck
Answer:	Mine didn't come with a manual either. Confusing at first but I plugged it into my laptop, opened up MS Word and played with it and it was easy to figure out the keys. Like V+ increases volume, V- decreases volume, etc. Pretty much mimics a normal keyboard in a Win button, etc... Pretty cool!

Answer:	This works via an included USB dongle/adapter, not Bluetooth. I don't believe the firestick supports USB, but if it does, try keyboard mode first
