Answer:	The newer MacBooks have a butterfly mechanism, which provides for very short travel and a firm feel, but which has had problems with dirt getting under the keys and incapacitating the keyboard. Apple may or may not have fixed this with a dirt barrier in the 2018 version. The magic keyboard has a scissor mechanism, which has proven to be reliable, and it has been reengineered for a shorter travel. It takes some getting used to, but I'm really getting to like it. Answer:	Yes, you can pair multiple devices to host system. Just be aware that the more bluetooth devices you pair (especially older ones and new ones at the same time) the bluetooth can lag because it keeps switching the different bluetooth revisions. Normally it's not too bad but every once in a while it will freeze for a moment on my Mac (and in the tech logs it talks about bluetooth connectivity failed to connect, but it clears in a minute. If you have more than one computer or device where you would want to use the keyboard (such Apple TV) they can be paired with multiple devices but you must switch the input or turn bluetooth off (or disable the device) on the one you don't want to use the keyboard at present. This is only an issue if both the laptop & Mac are both turned on at the same time and within bluetooth range of each other.

Answer:	I don't know, but mine seems to be doing the same thing. If I didn't need a keyboard for my Mac I'd send it back. My caps lock light seems to work fine in the morning but by lunch time it's not. My shift key seems to be hanging up as well.

Answer:	My Macally Ultra-Slim keyboard does not have a port to connect a wired mouse. The standard slim keyboards provided by Apple with desktop purchases used to have one or more USB ports. I do not know whether the Apple keyboards still do.

Question:	I just opened it and its already a terrible purchase. I'm following all the instructions but the mouse red light isn't even turning on (with new different batteries) and the keyboards red light is turning on but not pairing. How do I return and refund this terrible purchase
Answer:	My mouse works perfectly without the bottom light, also with a very good speed. I think the lower bulb is just a sensor with no light
Question:	why will the keyboard not connect? tried all combos of turning it off, taking out receiver, pairing using keys, so i don't get the flash lites

Answer:	Yes it does. By holding the FN key, you can control the volume. Though you may need to check the settings of your audio output. Some don't allow volume control through the keyboard. I use a Mac with a 55" LED TV as the monitor and it does not allow keyboard functions for volume
