2. Repair the keyboard:

Unplug the receiver of computer.

Press “ESC” and “= +” buttons about five seconds until the power indicator display red.

Plug the receiver to the computer quickly before the red light is off at the same time.

3. Repair the mouse:

Turn off the power switch at the bottom of the mouse.

Unplug the receiver from the computer port.

Turn on the power switch at the bottom of the mouse.

Answer:	This cable is for to connect hdmi to dvi (my case is to connect to a monitor) or dvi to hdmi. If you try to connect your dvd player to a monitor or dvi port then yes you need this cable but if you try to connect to a TV with hdmi port then this cable is not the right one

Answer:	I believe "DVI-I" and "DVI-D" both carry the digital signals, so if there is a DVI output connection from the computer, the digital signals are automatically transferred to the HDMI plug at the opposite end of the cable.
