Answer:	I bought the LP KM717 Premier Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. It worked like a charm with the USB receiver but had some trouble in setting up through bluetooth on my Win7 laptop. I tried atleast 10 times, every time the bluetooth device will get added but will not work. I was able to make it work by first setting up the bluetooth mouse and disabled the GATT server service under the Services tab on the Mouse Bluetooth device properties. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I had the same problem (I've had the keyboard for 5 years), with it getting a lot worse lately. Changing the batteries didn't help. I took the suggestion of some of the posts here and moved the receiver to a front USB 2.0 port from a USB 3.0 in the back on my computer. So far everything seems fine. The receiver is now about 4 ft from the keyboard with nothing in the way of the signal to the keyboard. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Answer:	This is a generic Bluetooth mouse; it should work with any operating system that has a bluetooth stack supporting pointing devices. I don't have a Windows 8.1 box to test with, but I can confirm it works on Windows 7, all flavors of Linux, and Mac machines. Even if the stock Microsoft bluetooth stack did not support bluetooth mice, any current 3rd party bluetooth stack does; (bluesoleil, toshiba bluetooth stack, motorola bluetooth stack, Intel bluetooth stack, etc...) I've also tested this with a couple Android devices and it works there too. (Tested on Android 4.0 through 4.4.2)
