Answer:	Well, if you don't mount it, it's difficult to scrape your shoes in it. I mounted mine on a piece of 2"x4" (lengthwise, about 16" long) and buried it right by the concrete on the driveway close the house. I painted the entire thing with clear lacquer (spray paint) so the weather wouldn't deteriorate it. It works great!
Question:	Does this output numpad scan codes
Answer:	I mounted mine centered on a 2x6 board about 2 feet long.This allows you to stand on the board with one foot while you clean the other boot.Then simply tip it over to clean.Any permanent structure it is mounted to would definetly prevent cleaning.

Question:	What is the brand of the switch
Answer:	The anchors included can be used for concrete, stone or tile. You will need a 5/16" bit and drill the holes 1-3/8" deep. This is directly from the instructions printed on the side of the box.

Answer:	The brushes on these are pretty aggressive but not sure if it can remove Stickers, it will all depend on the adhesive of the sticker and how stuck it is to the shoe

Answer:	The brushes & frame are 9-1/4 inches, the step on parts are 4-1/2 inches each.

Answer:	The unit does a good job on smaller shoes. I have size 15W and my boots don't fit in it. The width between the brushes on the side is 4", so if your shoe is over 4 3/8 you might be having trouble using this one.

Answer:	UK sizing. I live in US and usually buy 10, wide. My Size 9 Rockrooster boots fit very well.

Answer:	The keypad should work fine as far as the numbers. In regards to the “Hot Keys”, we say the following: Hot keys on the Freestyle2 keypad are designed for Windows and may not be supported on other operating systems or when using terminal emulation or remote access.

Answer:	No. Official word from Kinesis is that USB devices can't modify each other, so if you're using the Freestyle (or I suppose any other keyboard), you can't use the Windows Alt-Numkeys to get extended characters. SOME of them do work, but not nearly all of them (no European characters)

Answer:	1. Unplug the usb receiver, take out the battery and then turn off the keypad power switch 2. Replug the usb into your computer 3. Keep the keypad close to the usb and insert a new battery then power it on. 4. The keypad should be reconnected again.
