Answer:	It is unsharpened but not chrome, it is painted black. It along did not fit my M1 Garand. It is a made in China replica.

Answer:	I thought I better clear this up as an owner of the inkling for 4 years. You can replay your pens strokes within the software you get with the inkling. You can't unfortunately export it as a movie file but with a little messing around and moving each stroke into it's own layer (a little work but doable) you could create an animated gif (in photoshop) or movie file if you ported the images into after effects or premire. I hope this helps any one else looking at picking this up as you can get them really cheap now. :)
