7 best wacom digital pens
Wacom is a well-known brand in the world of digital pens and graphics tablets. They specialize in creating high-quality stylus pens and input devices designed for digital art, graphic design, and professional use. Here are some key features and information about Wacom digital pens:
Pen Technology: Wacom's digital pens use electromagnetic resonance (EMR) or active electromagnetic resonance (AEMR) technology. This technology allows for precise and responsive pen input without the need for a battery in the stylus itself. It provides a natural drawing and writing experience.
Pressure Sensitivity: Wacom pens typically offer a high level of pressure sensitivity, allowing users to create varying line thickness and opacity by adjusting the pressure applied to the pen tip. This is especially important for artists and designers who require precise control over their digital creations.
Pen Tilt and Rotation: Many Wacom pens support tilt and rotation functionality, which means they can detect the angle at which the pen is held and adjust the brush or pencil stroke accordingly. This adds a new dimension to digital art and allows for more natural shading and drawing techniques.
Compatibility: Wacom pens are compatible with a wide range of Wacom graphics tablets and interactive pen displays. They are also often compatible with specific software applications commonly used in graphic design and digital art, such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter.
Button Customization: Some Wacom pens come with programmable buttons that can be customized to perform specific functions, such as right-click or undo, which can improve workflow efficiency.
Pen Models: Wacom offers a variety of pen models, each with its own set of features and price points. Some are designed for general use, while others are tailored for more specific tasks or professions, such as 3D modeling, illustration, or animation.
Pen Accessories: Wacom also provides various pen accessories, including pen holders, replacement nibs (the tip of the pen), and cases to protect and maintain the pens.
Wireless and Bluetooth Connectivity: Some Wacom pens offer wireless or Bluetooth connectivity options, allowing for a cable-free working experience and easy pairing with compatible devices.
Wacom has earned a reputation for producing high-quality, reliable digital pens and input devices that are widely used by professional artists, designers, and illustrators worldwide. Their products are known for their precision, sensitivity, and durability, making them a popular choice for those who require precise and natural digital drawing and writing experiences.

User questions & answers
Question: | these nibs look more like they fit to the other end of the pen (the one with eraser). The writing nib looks more thin and pointed... Is it true |
Answer: | It is unsharpened but not chrome, it is painted black. It along did not fit my M1 Garand. It is a made in China replica. |
Question: | Is it compatible with huion pe330 rechargeable stylus 8192 pen |
Answer: | This model bayonet was difinitely used in that conflict in one of it various forms. This bayonet started out its career with a 16-inch blade, atop the M1903/M1903A3 Springfield rifle, which served our GI's in WWI and into WWII. Most serviceable 16-inch blades were cut down to the 10-inch length and reissued in WWII. However, the 16-inch version was still used in the Marine Corps at that time. The version that is represented in this Chinese-made reproduction represents the 10-inch bayonet not cut down from the earlier 16-inch version. The bayonet was used on both the M1 Garand and the venerable M1903/M1903A3 Springfield rifles. The Marine Corps used both the Garand and Springfield rifles in the Peleliu conflict. In fact though, most Marines had never laid their hands on an M1 Garand rifle. For many Marines, they had first experience with the Garand rifle when they picked it up from a dead Marine or Army soldier on the battlefield in the Pacific campaigns of WWII. However, the bayonet was there through it all. |
Question: | Will these nibs work with the Wacom Artist Pen |
Answer: | The word China is right on the blade by the handle on the ones that I have seen from China. They can also have U.S. on the blade by the handle or on the handle itself. |
Question: | Are these compatible with the Cintiq 16 pen |
Answer: | Just received mine today, January 26th, 2017. They must have changed policy or else they forgot to give me anything but the knife, sheath, and belt attachment. 99 cent rock not a deal breaker for me. haven't closely examined the knife and sheath yet. Bought for show so the bar isn't too high. Will review when I have looked closer. |

User questions & answers
Question: | does this pen work with my bambo slate a4 size |
Answer: | No, you will need the UP370800 for the Bamboo Folio. |
Question: | Will this work with Photoshop elements or just complete photoshop |
Answer: | No it won't it doesn't convert to photoshop very well and when it does the file size is enormous. Works great with illustrator |
Question: | Can you tell me how to get a battery for the pen? The one I have corroded - it seems to be a real "orphan" size |
Answer: | It's a 1/3AAA battery. There are sellers right here on Amazon. Just search for "1/3 AAA flat top battery". The button top battery won't fit. |
Question: | May I know the compatible paper size |
Answer: | Standard size paper, 8.5 x 11 I believe. The really neat thing about this sketching pen is the ability to use multiple layers. |
Question: | Can the drawing be replayed with the original speed |
Answer: | I thought I better clear this up as an owner of the inkling for 4 years. You can replay your pens strokes within the software you get with the inkling. You can't unfortunately export it as a movie file but with a little messing around and moving each stroke into it's own layer (a little work but doable) you could create an animated gif (in photoshop) or movie file if you ported the images into after effects or premire. I hope this helps any one else looking at picking this up as you can get them really cheap now. :) |
