Answer:	You can connect the devices to a switch and access them both from your computer. You cannot raid the device to an EX2. You can connect a USB hard drive (such as a MyPassport) to the USB3.0 slots on the back to expand storage and backup files using the system backup feature (not a RAID configuration).
Question:	Would this work with u.2 drives
Answer:	Yes, the red pro drives are supported

Answer:	Not that I am aware of, but it is probably possible to enable ssh and log into the drive using a terminal.. From there, you can most likely run apt-get and install a defrag tool that can run thru the same command line.. If it is anything like the MyBook Live (most likely is) then the ssh name is "root" and the password "welc0me" (that is a zero "0", not a capital o "O").. My guess is it's running a form of Debian Linux, so look for defrag tools compatible with Debian..

Answer:	its an ambiguous question. There are power cables to the switch and there are power cables to the drives, assume you mean to the drives, there are 2 cables to the drives with each cable having 3 connectors, the 3 connectors cables are different length by about 6 inches. I have a huge case, and no issues with length and my drives are on the opposite end of the case where the switch module is. The cables are all tied up so I cant go in and measure lengths
Question:	I have old drives removed from service, some are defective. Will this product perform a secure erase or reformat
Answer:	Yes ... That is what it is for. It has nothing to do with the fan. It will disconnect and/or reconnect the HDD from the power and the SATA port. I use it all the time.
Question:	can I disable duplicator and just use this as a two unit docking station? i have 2 ssds and just want to access them as a two normal units
Answer:	This handy device works with anything that uses a dedicated power supply attachment, such as any SATA drive or other device. It will not not work with any NVMe M.2 SSD if it is directly connected to and powered by the Motherboard. I use this power switch in two of my computer builds. All of my SATA-connected devices, such as SSD or HDD drives, including CD/DVD/BluRay burners, are connected to this switching device. It is especially handy with multiple SSD or HDD drives. I'm not sure what you meant by "u.2 drive", but if it has its own power connector, you can use it with ths Kingwin Power Switch.

Offline Clone Function (No Connection on the USB)

1, Insert Source Disk and Target Disk into hard drive. (The capacity of Target drive must be equal or bigger than Source drive.)

2, Make sure that the USB cable is disconnected from your computer.

3. Connect power supply and switch on power.

4. Press and hold the offline clone button for 3 seconds, release when you see a Blue LED. (Cloning is now ready)

5. Then quickly press the clone button, then offline clone operation will start. Each LED represents 25% completion.

Answer:	I own both units. The Mobius is superior. It has a sturdier build, easier (tool free) mounting process and generally just works better. The only question is the $80 price difference worth it. To me absolutely yes.

Answer:	When connected to a PC with a non-defective disk inserted, it appears to Windows as a remove-able disk drive. At that point you can access the files, or perform a secure erase on that drive. Fora defective drive, I'd recommend a sledge hammer...
