Question:	How do I download official firmware to change the sleep time or switch it off
Answer:	No, this enclosure only supports 2.5 inch (2.5") hard drives. Use the WD10SPZX drive if you need a drive for cheep, or the WD10SPSX drive if you need more speed. Just make sure that the form factor is 2.5 inch and the interface is sata III and you should be fine.
Question:	I can see in the product photos that one end of the data cable is type c as is the product. is the other end type a or type c
Answer:	Press gently and slide the covers back. Also sometime there is clear tape that has to be removed for the first time. Once open excise the door a couple of times it will be a lot easier to open.

Question:	If i connect multiple usb external hard drive to a usb hub and connect this to my router, what will i see on the network
Answer:	Yes, you just need the right cable and or usb adapter. For my Note 8, I can use a native USB-c to Micro-B cable B012V56992 & my phone can access and transfer content to either of the external medias (SD card or HDD), I do have problems from my phone trying to transfer from the SD Card to the Ext HDD.. it just crashes For my Samsung Tab s4, I have to use a native USB 3 MicroB cable with a USB Type-a to USB-c adapter B06XZX464L. Not only does this allow my s4 to access the enclosure but I can move content between the 2 external medias with ease. However I have noticed that when transferring between the SD reader & enclosure HDD, the transfer rate is slower when my tablet is the host, when I plug it into my Windows 10 laptop, I achieve max speed 80MB/s (do to the nature of the SD reader only being UHS-i compliant).

However if your asking could you use a device that is NOT a pc... sure! With the correct cable, I am able to use my Android phone & tablet as a host, which then allows me to move content. If you want a device that doesn't require a host, you need to look at something else, like the WD My Passport Wireless Pro devices (B01F5LVTO4 or B07C8LGFD9)
