Answer:	I checked the SKU # on the mouse that I bought and it is the same as on the current one for sale. I can only guess that Tecknet uses the same mouse for a wireless model that would be equipped with a low battery light. I recently dumped it, as after cutting the wires to extend it next to the router, they wouldnt accept a return...I just purchased the aladdin one it its been working fine for over a month. It lost connection for 5 minutes one time , then reconnected all by it self. GREAT Product even at 10 dollars more. What good is this one if I cant monitor it or open it from a far.
