Answer:	The USB connector is there to provide power for the adapter - make sure it is plugged into a PC port or something like a cell phone charger. HDMI can be picky, depending on your destination device. Some monitors/TVs only accept certain resolutions or refresh rates, so double check your monitor's user manual to see if the resolution & rates match those put out by the converter. Also, make sure you aren't splitting HDMI (a digital signal) without using some kind of repeater (A powered splitter).

If you look closely at the large male plug you will see a bunch of little pins this part plugs into the computer, there are two types of ports (male/female) used on the computers so make sure that this is the one that you need! Answer:	This adapter has one vga end to connect to the computer that is producing the video. It also has a 1/8” connector audio cable to connect the audio plug output of the computer to the adapter. It has one HDMI output connection that you would connect to your HDMI cable. The other end of your HDMI cable connects to your display. In my case that is an HD TV. So the video and audio from my computer goes out the computer vga and headphone audio into this adapter. Important Installation:



1.Insert the adapter into the computer USB3.0 interface. Connect this adapter with second monitor via the HDMI to HDMI cable.



2.It will pop up a install driver in a few minutes when you plug into the stable USB port, just choose the driver and install it.



3.Follow each steps. If it pop up a window to prevent installation, please manual choose " Allow to run this software ", please tick “ Trust “ this software and click “ Install “ button.



4.Wait until it asks you to restart the computer and then restart it.



5.After reboot, the second monitor correctly display the image. Set the resolution.

Answer:	generally that means that your computer is "extending" your display to the TV, not cloning it. You can adjust that in your Windows display settings.

Answer:	Yes, you can use this to connect the computer to the HDMI port with an HDMI-HDMI cable. However, it may not work with every TV; I foundt that while it worked on two smaller TVs (19" Apex & 22" NAXA), it didn't work with either of my larger (32" LED & 50" plasma) Panasonic TVs, possibly becuse the computer's graphics settings were incompatiuble with the Panasonics.
