Answer:	Hello. Theoretically, it should but bear in mind it appears that the Path is 25 Serial Pin to 9 Pin to USB. Every 'converter' step can bring it's own problems and multiple conversions can bring more issues than the number of conversions. The goal would be to have only one converter. If the Origin device is old, consider replacing it with a newer platform that uses USB or Ethernet (network). Since it's only about $14 for the cable setup, it's not too expensive to try and see if it will work and if it doesn't then it wasn't an expensive loss. Also, there is likely no Drivers will be available so you'll be relying upon the USB, heavy on the U for Universal part to help things along. Consider that TrippLite has made such a device for this very issue, and I like TrippLite so the odds are better than not. Best wishes to you and hope it works. P2

Answer:	You can get the drivers online from here - https://www.tripplite.com/support/u209005c. Please note that it will only work for OSx 10.12 and below. 10.13 and above does not seem to be supported for the U209-005-C device. I ended up using the USA-19HS and it works for OSx 10.13 (but the interface is USB-A instead of USB-C for the U209-005-C)

Answer:	As several of the reviews touched this subject, is not as good as a fully-shielded, Honest-to-God RG6. I used a 10 footer to feed my modem and immediately shows errors, took it down to a 6 footer + standard RG6 and much better. It depends on your environment. Only way to know is to try.
