The cable still worked fine, but I just hate damaged cables, so I replaced it. (Some of my friend's cables look like a child's baby tooth that's one good yank away from falling out. Drives me crazy.) My replacement arrived about a month and a half ago, and I've had no problems with this one either. Treat the cable gently - no stepping on it, slamming something on it, bending it sharply - and it should work perfectly. |

I've read that the OEM cord can limit you to 1700 mAmp, but in my experience, you're more likely to be limited by the wall adapter, and that's where you should shop carefully. |
