Answer:	I don't know about the warranty. The only reason I'm answering this is because I have thrown away a few cables thinking they went bad. Finally, a guy at the Apple store showed me that you have to clean out the lightning connector port from all the lint that builds up in there. I couldn't believe how much came out. Then all the cables I thought were bad worked fine again. Just use a wood or plastic toothpick to nudge it out a little at a time. Don't use anything metal in that port.

It woulda le my phone flash because it would work and then not work over and over. Almost like someone turning a light switch on and off over again, it would charge, then not, then charge, then not. I stopped using it and I got a an actual Apple brand charger. Hope this helps.
