Answer:	No, this cord (or any other) does not stop the charging. When the battery is fully charged and the battery voltage matches the voltage of the cord, charging stops.

Answer:	I’ve had it for months now and I believe this cord was made to bend and not break or expose for fraying. I’ve even let the kids use it on occasion and it’s came back in perfect condition which is more than I can say for any other charger or adapter I’ve ever handed them.
