Answer:	Hi! While I can say for sure that this cable fits the Otter Box cases, I'm not really confident that it will fit the Fre Lifeproof case. Since you said you can only use Apple products, I did a side-by-side comparison of the original Apple cable that came with my iPhone 6s & this cable. There was a definite visible size difference. The Anker Cable housing around the lighting charger (the part that plugs into your phone) was slightly wider than the Apple cable's housing. Plus after looking at various pics of the Fre Lifeproof case online, the cover over the charging port seems to be a little wider than the original Apple cable; so I don't think this cable will fit. Answer:	I don't think it has a surge protector. I connected mine into a power strip with a surge protector. I don't know the joule rating of the power strip off hand. So far so good, also you need to use good quality cords to charge properly.

Question:	How to I go about getting cable replaced? Only had it for less than a month and it will not charge my iPhone anymore
Answer:	I contacted customer service at Anker.com, and they were very accommodating. They asked a few questions in order to provide verification, but once I provided the answers they sent a replacement lightening cable.

Answer:	This cable frayed on me and split near the plug. I purchased in March 2018 and despite their allegations of it being "durable," since I only used it around my home with a iPhone and an iPad, and it lasted 8 months, I would not purchase again. I have not yet tried the PowerLine+ but intend to. While I could not directly answer your question about whether it is "better than" the PowerLine+, I did want to let you know that the Powerline II is not as durable as they claim.

Question:	I can’t get the cord to plug into my extension cord. it plugs into my ipad, though. what do i need to connect it into my extension cord
Answer:	This USB C to Lightning cable needs to be plugged in to a USB C charger. The USB C charger transforms wall/mains AC current to DC current at the voltages required for USB C charging. You'll want a charger capable of at least 18 Watts to charge your ipad/iphone at full speed. Anker and Aukey (among others) make quality USB C chargers. iPhone 11 comes with a USB C wall charger, not sure which ipads do. Question:	HOw can i tell if this is usb-c 3.0 or usb-c
Answer:	USB C came out as part of the USB 3.1 standard. 3.0 5Gbps (also called 3.1 gen 1 because the USB-IF really wants to confuse people) vs USB 3.1 Gen 2 (the 10Gbps standard you're likely looking for) doesn't really matter in this scenario as the data line speed is limited by the Lightning connector protocol. This cable works properly for USB PD (power delivery) charge speed negotiation between the charger and device. It will allow devices to charge at the highest rate that is supported by both the device and charger. For example: 18W capable charger and 30W capable device = charging at 18W. 65W capable charger and 18W capable device = charging at 18W

Question:	What steps do I take to replace charger? It wont stream anymore and is showing signs of wear sometimes not charging
Answer:	It probably has a short in a wire inside the cord. Depending on how you bend it, sometimes the wires touch each other and connect allowing a charge, but most of the time they are sepersted due to the break. You just need to order a new charger. If you buy an Anker charger, it will list the devices it is compatible with. I think the 6 foot cord is the best value as it comes in a nice storage case.
Question:	Is there a heat rating on this cable
Answer:	I do not know, but mine never get hot, and when used with Anker outlets, they charge amazingly fast!
Question:	Is there a 20 ft cable? Is 10 the longest? Or is there a cable to cable connector
Answer:	the 10ft is the longest length we have. To get the best performance of the cable, we do not suggest using an adapter (a cable to cable connector).
Question:	Is this compatible with the Apple iPhone
Answer:	This cable is compatible with the Apple iPhone 11. But since Apple iPhone 11 uses PD technology, if you want to charge your device fast, a C to lightning cable is the best choice for your Apple iPhone 11.
