Answer:	I use it for my macbook pro, no need a DC feed.
Question:	Can this speaker stay on (does not turn itself off) even if the TV or connected device is off or idle for long time
Answer:	The unit is perfect for non-powered devices, most likely Thum drives,keys for programs such Pro-tools, etc. it will save you ports, if you need to connect bigger hard drive, the user will have to get a more robust, powered unit and connect that to an USB 3.0 or 2.0 port from your computer, I m using it in a power Mac and it woks perfectly for me but I just dont know how it will behave in a Windows system.
Question:	why does the soundbar keep beeping.... it's fully charged, has worked good, now it won't stop beeping
Answer:	This is not a powered hub, so by itself it will not charge an iPad. If the port you have this plugged into is powered, it will be able to draw power through and charge. However if you have other devices plugged into this that are not, themselves, powered they will each draw power through the same port that this is plugged into. Distributing power across all of the devices, possibly starving one or more of the devices. This can lead to damage to either one of the devices or the hub itself. So, the short answer is, while it CAN, technically, it is not advised.

Question:	Can this be used/connected for just the monitor? I don't want to use it with my computer. I'm trying to set up the monitor with my Roku
Answer:	The USB from the speaker if connected to the monitor would provide source of power only if the monitor itself does not have sound card. There is no sound card in my Dell monitors (latest Model U2521D and U2421HE) as most other monitors, so I need to connect an AUX cable (provided) from the speaker to PC to have sound. But if you connect the USB from the speaker directly to the PC, there is no need to have the AUX cable. The USB cable from the speaker is short but I found an extension USB cable attached from my purchase from Dell direct.

Answer:	The ac511m has a plastic mount that attaches to the stand. Newer Dell monitors do not have the slots in the monitor for it to mount to. Otherwise it is same soundbar as the ac511.

Answer:	I think plastic because I keep mine on my necklace and my metal Harley key on the necklace has rubbed against the lens and roughed up the area of contact - BUT if you are not stupid or lazy as I am, you might make your pairs last for years if you protect them in a case - BUT if you are like me, you might end up breaking glass lenses ...... and these guys are cheap enough that buying 3 pair every 3 months comes out to only about 10 cents a day......which is a great bargain if you ask me, IMHO.

Answer:	It shows for solar iPhone chord so I would ask the seller. But it does NOT show for Samsung.

Answer:	I have the speaker hooked up to my desktop using bluetooth. If I leave the speaker on when I shut down my computer, it does not reconnect when I turn it back on. If I turn the speaker off then back on, it will re connect itself. Hope this helps.

Answer:	it’s really good. additionally this system shines in the eARC where you can connect everything to the tv and then drop a single high quality hdmi from the tv to to the soundbar and get atmos to work off the tv apps. the similar samsung i had before this does NOT do that and needed everything to pass through the soundbar first, which left you short on ports and a smart tv you don’t want to use the apps on. the LG sounds better too IMO.

Answer:	sound quality is always good. voices are always clear, however the eq can at times sound a little honky in the midrange, but it isn’t bad. i’d buy it a dozen times over if i had to.
