Answer: They only turn off when you turn the nob to turn them off completely. If you want the red light off while they're on you have to disconnect the USB cable which powers the LED.

Question: Is there a model without the light? Afterall why would you power something that is not necessary to the sound production
Answer: These are for my office, so I didn't want the lights. Flip over the speakers to the back side and you can see where the 2 screws that hold the base to the rest of the unit. Press the foam bottom in these 2 spots and you'll see the indentation for the two screw heads. Use an x-acto knife to cut out two indentations for each speaker. I tried the 2 screw/needle-nose pliers trick others mentioned and broke off all 4 lights, but the leds remained on. I unscrewed the 3 mini screws on the underside of the unit and used the x-acto knife to cut one of the wires that connect to the two leds. Sounds harder than it really is. Sure it's a bit of a pain, but I've got exactly what I want now.

Answer: Most likely since the maker is saying to not exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius) within the car. Answer: It is not clear what you meant by "continuously". Did you mean exposing it to water continuously or submerging it to water? Why would we do that? The product can stand normal water splash. What matters most is that this product is extraordinary in sound quality: crispy high, articulate mid and big low. Wired Audio Mode

Just plug in the USB cable into a usb outlet or 5V usb charger for power and plug 3.5mm cable into your audio device audio out/ headphone jack. Turn on the power switch. Dial the volume knob at appropriate level. After the usb and 3.5mm audio cable are plugged in, long press the power button to turn on the SR300 computer speaker soundbar. The indicator will stay the red light in this mode. Press the power button button to mute the music.

Bluetooth Mode

Press the "M" button on the speaker to switch the mode, the inicator will flash red&blue, and the tone will ring.

Enable the Bluetooth function and search the device "ELEGIANT SR300", click to connect it.

After successfully connected, the indicator will stay the blue light.

Then you can press the power button to pause/play the music, long press the "+" "-" to play the pre/next song.
