Answer:	These are for my office, so I didn't want the lights. Flip over the speakers to the back side and you can see where the 2 screws that hold the base to the rest of the unit. Press the foam bottom in these 2 spots and you'll see the indentation for the two screw heads. Use an x-acto knife to cut out two indentations for each speaker. I tried the 2 screw/needle-nose pliers trick others mentioned and broke off all 4 lights, but the leds remained on. I unscrewed the 3 mini screws on the underside of the unit and used the x-acto knife to cut one of the wires that connect to the two leds. Sounds harder than it really is. Sure it's a bit of a pain, but I've got exactly what I want now.

Answer:	At good 'ol 'Wally World' (Walmart) the sell a velcro called "INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH" which you could probably frame a house with! Answer:	I use the speakers on a desktop computer, and have an Echo Dot hard wired to the AUX input on one of the speakers. I can play Prime Music over the speakers, and any sounds from the computer add on top of that such that both are heard at the same time. Of course you can say "Alexa pause" and only the computer sounds are on the speakers. By the way I think this is FANTASTIC!!!!

Answer:	Most likely since the maker is saying to not exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius) within the car. Answer:	Yes you can. Make sure phantom power is turned off in your Apogee Maestro software before you plug in the mic.
Question:	How long is the cord connecting the two speakers (i.e., how far apart can they be placed
Answer:	I don't know specifically about headset cables, but we have found these cables to be durable and of good quality.
Question:	how long is the audio "Line In" wire
Answer:	I can't see an AWG reference on my mic cables - but there is a reference on the page that says "High Grade 21g Dual Copper Conductors & Shield". I'm assuming the 21g is 21awg which is slightly larger than 22awg - which is a lower resistance (better) conductor. These mic cables will work great for whatever mic you're using. I've bought 10 of them and have been using them for over 3 years in a professional and home recording setting and have not had one fail. I cannot say that for other brands I have bought. They have been stepped on repeatedly (not recommended for any cable) had beer and other drinks spilled on them and have never failed me. They all still work great and the soft rubber sheathing is still easy to handle and coil.
Question:	How big is the power supply transformer? (Will it take up a single space on a power strip or will it cover more than one space
Answer:	They are chrome. As far as being rustproof, it's hard to say as I have only had the clamp for 2 months. It's a solid clamp. Only weakness I have encountered is the rubber pads don't stay in place of you mount your camera in a semi-permanent situation. I have mine mounted to a pic frame over a desk for video, and the clamp rolled down overnight and had to be repositioned the next day. I have since removed to pass completely and it stays in place just fine. It's perfect otherwise. Very happy with my purchase. Hope that helps...
