But you can do what you want with only one unit by using a microphone splitter to attach to the (RED) hole and connect the other end to the two microphones. Answer:	I had the same problem using my MacBook Pro and separate Bose speaker. I solved this by turning off the Bose speaker and using lightweight sports headphones wired into my MacBook Pro during video conferences. Not an ideal solution but it's working OK for me. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	So much of that depends on other noises in the room. If room is quite with not other sounds such as people, air conditioning, etc. you will be able to get farther away. Of course the farther away you get will reduce the clarity and quality.

Question:	We are planning a presentation system using a PC connected to wall-mounted TV. Will sound from this microphone pass on to the TV speakers
Answer:	Our company currently uses a PC and a wall-mounted TV along with this microphone (and a camera) for video conferencing. The microphone is usually at least four feet from the TV and we've not had feedback issues. Success will also depend on your acoustic situation and how loud you need the TV to output. FYI: Our room is about 15 feet long with an 8-foot table, so we use a second (non-USB: CM-1000) microphone daisy-chained off the main mic, to make sure that everyone at the table is heard. I'm told that this microphone solution is working wonderfully.
