Answer:	Cat 8 is real, it is recognized by TIA/EIA and is designed for data centers. That being said I highly doubt this cable is really Cat 8 considering the gauge is way too small compared to real Cat 8 that runs 22 gauge wires. not to mention that the spec for Cat 8 connectors are not these, these are Cat 7 (not recognized by TIA/EIA BTW, only by ISO/IEC) connectors. This cable seems to be a mix of Cat 6 and Cat 7 and not true Cat 8.

It can charge smartphones/handheld devices from the USB-A ports only and an external USB-C power adapter should be used to avoid disruption with the other ports. It supports USB Power Delivery (PD) pass-through of up to 60 W over the USB-C port. It requires using the USB-C power adapter provided with your laptop for it to charge.

Question:	Can this wire be used for in ceiling speakers
Answer:	it is regular speaker wire. i installed in wall speaker with it, which is similar. You will need to check with your local building codes on the installation. some places require all wiring to be stapled if it will impede with your travel in the attic. if you overhang some of them, you will not need to staple.
Question:	Can it handel 1000watt surround sound system
Answer:	I have it connected to a new Sony Home Theater 750 Watt System and I love the sound. My best guess is yes.
Question:	Is this thin enough to run through a drop ceiling to not effect the tiles? Want to use to run rear surround speakers
Answer:	Not exactly sure what you mean by "through a drop ceiling to not effect the tiles". If you mean without having to cut a notch in the tile, or tile framework, for the wire to run thorough--maybe. The wire dimensions are roughly 1/8" (3.175mm) by 1/4" (6.35mm), so it depends on the amount of play you have between your tiles and their framework, or the frame work and your wall depending on how you intend to route the wires. Good luck! BTW: It is more flexible than a 100% copper wire of equal gage.
Question:	Is this wire good for outdoor speakers
Answer:	Seems to me the jacket is sufficient enough to protect the wire outdoors, but you'd certainly have to take extra measures to protect the connections.
