If you are running high wattage over a long (>50ft) run length, the cheaper grade CCA will likely become hotter and not handle it well. This 16ga wire should have the same sonic clarity as a smaller 18ga pure copper wire. You get what you pay for.

Answer:	There is NO fire risk when using this wire for low voltage applications i.e., speaker connections. Most jurisdictions don't care about CL2/CL3 unless you are running 110VAC. This is speaker wire. Don't sweat it!

Answer:	The answers here are variably correct and incorrect!! The resistance of the speakers (ohms) needs to match the impedance the amplifier circuit is rated to handle. Too small a wire (length is a variable) will induce a resistance that the amplifier will face, like a speaker, and this will alter the "balance" of the intended match!!!! Pushing speakers rated at 500 watts under a constant load of 250 watts will induce heat "resistance" if the line between the amp and the speaker is very small and sound quality will be compromised!!!! Up to 100 feet of lead at a constant load of 500 watts would ideally be handled using 10 gauge copper, braided wire facing from 4 ohms to 16 ohms. Bottom line: Discriminating "audiophiles" popularly tout the use of 12 gauge braided lead for almost all in-home installations ... this allows for component upgrades in the future! As said here, 16 gauge braided lead, in most installations, will produce results that are completely acceptable in matching power and impedance and results!!!

Answer:	This is not in wall or plenum rated! For that you need to have cable in fire retardant insulation (wall) and special upgraded low smoke insulation for plenum space. The ratting need to be imprinted on cable. Anyway for in wall installation do yourself favor and go with 10 (or 12 if 10 is too expensive) gauge wire in proper insulation. You would be able to drive 2-4 ohm speakers at substantial power without problem. And the best part you do not need to use expansive speaker wire cable. Simple Romex 12/2 or 10/2 will do the job better than any audiophile sneak oil cable will do.

Answer:	It seemed to fit in most common speakers, I'd just make sure your using the right gauge for the application. I think there are guides on how many feet and wattage you need to pair with. Im not going to tell you to buy monster cable but what are you trying to accomplish? I'd just get quality wire (which this is) good strippers that you can use. ( even harbor freight sells ok strippers) strip off only as much as you need. Read the manual. It's usually 3/8" for slide connections (10mm). Maybe more for binding post. I'd make sure to twist and make sure there is no frayed ends. Nice and tidy work.

A better result would be to connect the Echo Dot to a speaker or use Bluetooth to connect it to the speaker

Answer:	Check the space size as long as it's made for a round 3-1/2 yes it should some vehicles need special wiring which can be picked up at your local electronic store
Question:	Will this work with a 2003 Tundra that has tweeters and factory amplifier
Answer:	I tried to use these in a GM G-Body '84 Regal for the front dash speakers however they are not good. The frame is too thick. There is a rim on the top that is too thick for proper seating of the dash panel. Did not work for me until I cut the damn rim down with a razor blade. Then I almost cut my damn thumb off on my left hand when the blade slipped off the speaker rim. It cut deep to the bone. It was a single edge razor. Went through my thumb like butter. Happened so fast and I knew it was bad. So after holding pressure on my thumb for an hour while laying on the floor, I had to act. It definitely needed a few stitches, but I don't trust hospitals so I dressed it myself. I poured some peroxide on the fookin thing and then wrapped it tight with sterile gauze while keeping the cut closed. Took a few weeks to heal because the wound closed up on the gauze and it would not come off. So I had to keep trimming down the gauze smaller and smaller until there was no scab left. Still have the inch long scar to this day. Fooking Kenwood SUCKS ! I should have bought Prestige speakers made by VOXX. They had the proper fit. Never buy Kenwood !!! Nearly lost a thumb !
