Question:	How does radar detector work and does it gave a lot of false alert in California
Answer:	The specifics on how a radar detector works can get pretty complicated, but to put it as simply as possible, there is a "horn" inside the device that will condense radar signals so they can be detected. if it is in a band ( a portion of the Electro-magnetic spectrum) the detector will make a tone. It's important to note that this will only detect radar and not police vehicles, they must be actively using their radar for it to detect. The amount of false alerts you get are going to depend on your settings
Question:	It says it comes with gps. How does that work? What are the pros? Cons or annoyance
Answer:	The detector has a built-in GPS so that you can lock out faults radar sources and the detector will remember them. You can lock out up to 100 faults alert locations. It also has a red light camera and speed trap location database. Based on your GPS location the radar detector will warn you of these locations and I see no downside to having the built-in GPS. I just drove from Michigan to Missouri and back and in states that use the red light cameras it worked perfectly .

Answer:	You are not gonna hide the spiral stretch wire very easily. If you use hard wire kit and it's mounted up high on the windshield then you can run the wire under the edge of the trim and to the fuse panel. That's what I did.

Answer:	Standard USB ports only deliver around 5 volts. Most detectors need 12 volts, which is what the cigarette lighter socket supplies.

Answer:	As the other gentleman said, it's a radar detector, not a cop detector. It will only go off when you detect a police officer using his radar gun. Whether hand-held or the stationery type that operate as the police car is stopped or even driving. But when an officer isn't actually doing speed checks, they often turn the radar unit off. Even then, not all police cars are equipped with radar. A lot of police agencies may only have less than 10% of their units equipped with radar.

Question:	Hello, is there a visor clip for this device that I can buy
Answer:	Hi! There is not a visor clip made for this unit. What I would do is go to Hobby Lobby and buy a magnet the size where the original bracket mounting fits. Then I would go on Ebay and look under radar mounts and find one that fits on a visor. Take the magnet and use super glue and glue the magnet to the mount. You may have to do some modifications but it will work. If I have time I could make you one. This should work for you. It is an easy fix. Answer:	As of May 12, 2020, you said mac software available soon. It is now September 30, 2020 and your web site still only lists windows app for the Defender app. I've owned my 360 dual pro since December and I still can't update the unit? When is the Mac software going to be available?

Answer:	Im not satisfied with mine.Its detection is all over the place therefore I can't really tell what it's doing...

Answer:	I'm not exactly qualified to answer your question directly but I can say that it has artificial intelligence and if it detects alarms (i.e. stores or administration buildings) once in a familiar route, it will not constantly beep. Answer:	To be completely honest, the XTR-435 from whistler works much better. The CR85 works decent enough but not as effectively as the XTR model which I highly recommend. :)
