Question:	Any Solo S3 users who previously owned the Solo S2? Is the S3 noticeably better than the S2? My trusty old S2 still works great
Answer:	My S2 was stolen so I replaced it with an S3. The case and display of the S3 is nicer looking than the S2, but they seem to function identical. I got tired of switching the S3 from car to car so I decided to purchase a refurbished S2. No regrets. If you like the black body and higher resolution of the S3 it might be worth the switch, but I can't say you'll get a better functioning unit. They seem to work the same, to me anyway.

Answer:	The cordless escort solo 3 . does have a hole on the side that looks like it would except ear buds. No little headphone symbol though. Never tried it. Have owned for four months plus. Gone through three battery changes. Saved me four times for sure and multiple close calls. Highly recommend. Good luck

Answer:	No it does not detect red light cameras. It detects most forms of radar except the most modern, like Proline, that shoot a radar beam about the size of a softball. Really no detectors pick those unless the detection is whole car or happens to be place where the softball sized beam is pointed. In Florida where I live police are not using the newest forms of radar, so it works fine and has never missed a detection here. But when I was in Atlanta October 2014, I got a ticket from a cop using in Proline radar gun.

Answer:	Yes. Radar uses radio waves which bounce around the environment causing all radar detectors to detect radar in 360° (just as your radio detects radio stations in 360°). Detectors that use "360" in their name have arrows which point to the radar source. The RAD 450 does not have directional arrows. RAD 450 does have an IVT Filter. It filters out many radar based vehicle safety systems.

Answer:	You are not gonna hide the spiral stretch wire very easily. If you use hard wire kit and it's mounted up high on the windshield then you can run the wire under the edge of the trim and to the fuse panel. That's what I did.

Answer:	Standard USB ports only deliver around 5 volts. Most detectors need 12 volts, which is what the cigarette lighter socket supplies.

Answer:	As the other gentleman said, it's a radar detector, not a cop detector. It will only go off when you detect a police officer using his radar gun. Whether hand-held or the stationery type that operate as the police car is stopped or even driving. But when an officer isn't actually doing speed checks, they often turn the radar unit off. Even then, not all police cars are equipped with radar. A lot of police agencies may only have less than 10% of their units equipped with radar.

Answer:	Its just a telephone cord that plugs into tge supplied cigarette adapter. If you want to tap into your car's power it depends on your car. A new feature from v1 is a speed mute that mutes audio below a set speed. For that you will need to run a cable from the driver's footwell to your v1 which should be mounted by your rearview mirror. There were companies out there that supplied custom wite kits for custom installs. Whatever you do, buy direct from v1. Sometimes they have recons that are cheaper.

Answer:	Again I repeat, I have owned V1 since the mid 1990's plus others of course. The V1 as has been said has no gps so it is incapable of alerting to any speed camera.

Answer:	I own both radar detectors and I can tell you that the 360 Max does not see as far as the 9500ix!! The 360 does see front and back And I do like that!!

Answer:	the firmware is upgradable, I am not certain if we have an upgrade out for that model yet (it is very new) but you can use windows and mac to update.

Question:	Hello, is there a visor clip for this device that I can buy
Answer:	Hi! There is not a visor clip made for this unit. What I would do is go to Hobby Lobby and buy a magnet the size where the original bracket mounting fits. Then I would go on Ebay and look under radar mounts and find one that fits on a visor. Take the magnet and use super glue and glue the magnet to the mount. You may have to do some modifications but it will work. If I have time I could make you one. This should work for you. It is an easy fix. Answer:	Yes the software can be updated very easily at home. The Max 360c can even be updated through WiFi.

Answer:	The screen could be brighter. Dont think the colors of arrows can be changed.
