Answer:	Yes it is. Works great in the water thats what I used it for mostly in Hawaii

Answer:	No it will be compatible. For me it was sort of tough to get the gopro case into the actual pole. It took some time to find a good position for it to slide in. Also mine was really hard to retract when I first got it. It has a screw that I had to loosen so that it would retract easier. However you don't want to loosen it too much either so that the pole won't just slide right out
Question:	I would like to use with my Gopro Hero 3+ Silver. Do I need to buy anything extra to make it work? I know the GoPro bolt is not included

Answer:	I think if you buy the gobuddi, obviously you don't have the gopole to compare. I have been very happy with the gobuddi. I don't see how GoPro could have built a better one, other than there be a difference in the length of the pole. It's very sturdy and much less money. It worked great for videoing my wife and I's canoeing trip both out of the water and in the water. If you like the length of this pole, this product will be perfect for you.
