Answer:	It does work with a mirror display in my 2010 King Ranch. No dealer programming was required. But one does have to figure out the wiring. Your Ford will have a 6 pin (or more) connection while the replacement camera has 4. Camera power feed positive and negative. Video positive and negative that goes to your mirror. Can't help on which wires to use as my mechanic figured it out then shrink wrapped his connections. Wiring change done behind the bumper. Wiring provided is for those installing an aftermarket radio with video display in the cab. Instructions for existing Ford displays aren't included in the instructions. The resolution of the replacement camera is better than the factory, but the range is shorter probably due to a slightly different angle of the camera. Also note the new Ford Emblem and new base glue together while the old ones use clips that break.

Answer:	The picture from the camera and monitor are really clear. It is a little difficult to see if glare or direct sunlight are hitting the screen.

Answer:	Don't really understand your question? If you're saying that you need that, contact the seller- he's very good about! I think he even mentioned that he had a windshield mount. If your asking if you need either one, I would say no; I installed mine on an F-150, and prob. have 5-6 ft. coiled up under the seat. Unless you're installing it on the back of a trailer, that would be interesting? and I'm just not a fan of window mounts- I don't feel they're very secure, and it comes with a pretty good dash mount(easily modified to sit on my center console). More at issue (certainly with my truck) was that it put the screen too far away to really be able see it very well! Especially the smaller monitor- consider upgrading to the 7in. Hope that answers your question...
Question:	I want to use this mainly to back up to trailers. I have an 8' bed with a crew cab. Will there be enough wiring to reach
Answer:	Depends in how you plan to get it into the cab but probably not. I have a crew cab and a 6ft bed and run it up through the engine compartment and then into the cab I needed an extension and a female to female RCA adapter to make the run.

I don’t know if you’ll have any issues with the distance between the display (in cab) and the rear of the trailer, given that it connects via Bluetooth. The length of the licence plate doesn't matter , but you need to make sure that the distance between the upper screw is 6.57" to 7.36".

Question:	Does this dash cam record with the rear cam all the time like the front cam
Answer:	The camera body is incorporated in the 3rd light lense and fits perfectly in the light opening. Prior to installation, however, you'll have to unscrew the original lense and detach LED light panel from the back and clip it on to the camera/light. Also, if your Commander display (thats how dealer refers to the audio/radio/ display unit) does not have camera option (when you press system button), or, display does not go black (waiting for video signal from the camera) when you put the transmission on the rear gear- it means that your commander needs additional programming - to have camera option. I personally had Mercedes tech to do such thing in my van. Simply connecting the wires to the dash unit didn't work without reprogramming. You can get the same camera with its own monitor, but I didnt want to add more wires and clutter in the van. Best regards.

Answer:	You can wire to the navigation system But I'm using it as rear recording camera on the mirror since I had back up camera installed to my Nav system but yes you can do that!!!

Answer:	Normally the pin connector is manufacturer specific. Very small for going through a small hole. Most have a RCA connector for connecting to a monitor/display. That being said I'm not sure of the connector its buried in the lift gate.
Question:	I just need a camera camera with 5 pin connector! Is this a 5 pin or 4 pin connector
Answer:	Proper way would be to hook up red cable wire on video feed at head unit end, to the reverse wire on the wiring harness. You can youtube and find where that is on your vehicle. Mine (2007 Tacoma) was under the driver side kick panel. Then at the camera end just wire the red cables together (one from the video feed to the one from the red hotwire feed coming out of camera. This will trigger the camera to come on when the vehicle is put in reverse. No need for a separate hot feed at the camera. As mentioned, just tie the two red wires at the camera end together. Then the feed at head unit end will power the camera through video cable when put in reverse. This also prevents your camera from being on at all times and on only when in reverse..
Question:	Would the red wire on the video cable work to send power to the camera from my monitor power switch? Cut at both ends and connect right

Answer:	The grid lines are fixed and there is a blinking word STOP in the middle of the red line, obviously telling you to stop when an object gets to the red line. You can turn all of this off by snipping the white loop coming out of the control box. To turn, the camera would have to know the position of your steering wheel, which would be quite a complicated installation on the car, not too mention an expensive one.
