In this instance they are talking about WiFi. 5G WiFi is just 5 gigahertz or 5 Ghz, also known as 802.11n or 802.11ac, and has been around for many years. If you have a phone that was produced in the last 4-5 years, it should be compatible with 5 GHz WiFi (there are some exceptions). 5G cell service on the other hand is VERY new, and almost no phones have it (as of late 2019). Unless you paid $1500 for your phone, you don't have 5G cell service, but the good news is that you don't need it for this product.

Answer:	Some one on this thread said that it weighs 0.26 pounds. In my experience, this is not an out of doors aircraft in that it is too light and under powered to withstand any amount of breeze. It cannot maintain it's position in a low altitude hover if there is any winds at all. Mine was blown away never to be seen again. Keep yours indoors.

Answer:	Brian, to connect your android phone to camera, you must first download the app from Syma. Go to symatoys.com, select Support from the menu, and download the app titled "Syma Android FPV apk" to a folder in your android phone, preferable one you can access easily. You also must have an apk manager, usually Samsung phones have it as Application Manager. Others must be similar. Browse to the folder you downloaded the file and click on the FPV apk file. You should see the icon shown on the Support page in your applications screen (for example in downloaded apps) titled SYMA FPV in one of your downloaded applications screens. Charge the battery of your X5SW and install it in your drone. Be sure the camera cable is plugged in. Turn it on. Go to your phone. Click Settings and find your Wifi connections. There should be one titled "FPV WIFI_####" with numbers and letters instead of ####. Connect to that Wifi signal. Now go back to your apps screen and click on the icon SYMA FPV. A screen in white and red opens. Click on START. The screen will show the video image and five icons above. To record a snapshot, click on the photo camera icon. Answer:	Actually, it depends. If you fly it indoors only, there's no need to register it. You only have to register it if you fly it outside.Edit: I got the blue one today and weighed the quad, camera and a battery and it came in at 119 grams, so since the regulations say 250+ grams need registered, this quadcopter is not required to be registered.

It has two joysticks on the top that you would control with your thumbs, and a power button centered between the joysticks. You can see these in that picture. There are also 4 buttons that you would press with your index fingers (two on each side). Those are out of view on the top of the controller (based on the perspective from the first picture). Answer:	Amazon. Just search the battery model #, and I recommend getting a spider charger- it charges 6-8 batteries at a time. Although the battery life is excellant on this drone, 2 batteries should be the max used before at least a 5-10 minute break to allow the motors to cool down. The motors are ultra high rpm, and their tiny form factor makes it hard to build super HD ones that size. If I’m not mistaken they are brushed motors,( vs brushless), and therefore, the contacts that create the rotation ,( called brushes ), can and will wear out eventually. If multiple batteries are run, keeping the motors hot, they wear out at a much faster rate. Maybe not a concern, and yes, if you are tech savvy motors are a snap to replace, but I recommend against it, as there are separate rotations based on position on drone, and micro soldering which is always much easier on YouTube videos, than real life, trust me. Good Luck, the charger shouldn’t be more than $10 or so, & a multi charger is often attached to a std usb cable - to any std per brick like a cell phone charger. Good day.

Question:	How do you liftoff? I’ve trued everything, all batteries work, all lights are on but the blades dont even move. The manual wasn’t helpful
Answer:	Check page "8" in manual. or try this: with throttle in lowest position, turn on tranny, turn on quad, briskly move throttle to highest position and back to bottom. You should hear a beep from the tranny and your ready to go. Note: If you'r an inexperienced flyer, get some help. Your quad may require some trimming, or fine tuning as they call it on page 7.
Question:	What is the actual range on these? Is it 50, 70, 100 meters? Everyone says something different
Answer:	If you use the camera that comes with it, it could be as low 5 feet. With the camera not transmitting on the same frequency as the controls it can go much further than you can see... call it 100 meters if you want

Answer:	Mine didn't work from the start. Engines spun but never made it to the air. Don't buy. Get something more quality.
Question:	Why is the difference between the x8w and the x8c
Answer:	The x8w has the fpv option, it streams the video to your phone/tablet. This sounds cool, but it actually really limits the function of the camera. With the x8c, you snap pictures and start video using buttons on the transmitter vs your phone/tablet. The x8w uses WiFi to stream video which only has about 100 ft signal, so you lose control of the camera past that distance. The x8c controls the camera from the transmitter which has 3x the signal strength so you can still control the camera out to about 300-350 feet. If it were me I'd buy the x8c. Hopefully that all made sense, I haven't had my coffee yet this morning
