Answer:	Yes, it will track the driving speed and real-time location.

Answer:	Yes. The speed gets recorded on the movie file if the unit is connected to the GPS holder that comes with it. There is no way to turn it off currently. The RoadCam has no provision to turn it on or off currently 6th Oct 2020 version 1.0.0.0. 20200908. It's also shows as km/hr and has no option to change it in the app or on the camera currently. The only way to disable the speed monitoring is by not using the provided GPS unit and use the phone holder in it's place.
Question:	Could you please tell me if i'm filming in 4k, what would be the duration(lengh) of a video if i have the 256 gb card ?! (before it loops over) thx

Important Tips for the suction cup mount

Normal Mode:

EMAIL：kt.support@apemans When the front camera is connected only the resolution can be chosen to 1520P, if front and rear cams work at the same time, it’s 1440P for the front cam and 1080P for the rear cam. It’s very clear. And it’s normal for your rear video screen showing the right side as left side, it’s just a mirror image. But you can contact the seller for firmware if you don’t want mirror image.
Question:	Installation seems difficult for me, especially comes to connect front and rear camera. Is there any way can solve this
Answer:	Here’s a video I found that shows the full installation: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zbdq5hk65h5GJW_9VB237DOjmWFNLlTw It should help with a simple installation, but IF your car has an airbag in the A-pillar, I would not recommend running the wires across the top corner by the windscreen - rather, run them down next to the windscreen and back across the seam on top of the dash (in which case it may be easier to go around the bottom of the door frames rather than the top - just decide whats best for you and your car).
Question:	Does the rear camera record also and where does it record to
Answer:	Yes, it records two files simultaneously, front camera file is suffixed with an 'A' and rear camera file is suffixed with a 'B'. One thing to note that I didn't realize before buying the product, is that the front camera only records in 1080P when the rear camera is connected. 1440P is only for when the camera is recording by itself.

Not sure when this changed, but the "Frequently purchased together" hard wire kit is the wrong one. I had to make a separate purchase after it arrived. Knowing this, I ordered the correct one when I purchased the second.

In fact, the front and rear cams are recording simultaneously. Our engineers have urgently rewritten the program based on customers’ feedback and created a firmware to renew the system. After the updating process done, we can view both the front and rear recordings on Mac.

Answer:	I have used a 64 Gb and 256Gb micro SD card (Samsung 256GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Memory Card). My Windows 7 would only format a 32Gb partition with FAT 32. HOWEVER, if you put the larger cards in the camera and use the "Format" option in the settings menu, it will format them so that the entire card is available to write to. By my calculations, the 256Gb will hold over 30 hours of video (30 hours each for both cameras).

Simple Installation & Easy Operation -- Step 1. Mount the front camera

- Clean the front windshield.

- Assemble the suction mount and front camera together.

- Remove the protective plastic film from the suction pad, push the suction cup onto the inner windshield in a suitable position (Won't shade your vision while driving), rotate the suction bracket handle to ensure that it is well fixed.

Step 2. Connect the car original charger to the cigarette lighter.

Route the cables through the top ceiling and the A-pillar so that it does not interfere with driving.

Step 3. Connect the front and the Rear Camera

Please connect the cables as shown above:

- Connect the socket to the dash camera’s rear camera interface.

- Connect the red cable to the positive lead of reversing lamp.

Step 4. Install the Rear Camera

There are two methods to place the rear camera:

Mode 1: Mount on the rear windscreen. Package includes a 3M glue for the rear camera.

Mode 2: Mount near the license plate. Package includes fixing screws to help you fix it.

Question:	Does having tinted windows affect video recording quality? I’ve got a dark 5% limo tint rear window and light 75% tint front windshield
Answer:	While it is technically possible to connect the Nexar Beam to each of your phone/app simultaneously when sharing a vehicle, it would still be best to connect only one phone to the dash cam. That way, you don't need to have two separate apps running. Your wife can just simply use her own Nexar app to the dash cam when she's driving alone. On the other hand, there's no need to manually disconnect to the camera regardless if you're travelling together or not. If the only intention is to start/end recording, then its best that you don't disconnect to it so you don't have to manually set it up again once you begin a new trip.
Question:	Can the front camera rotate to view inside the car
Answer:	In terms of clip uploads during emergencies, you need to have mobile/cellular data enabled, so any incident detected can be easily captured and uploaded to your Nexar Cloud.
Question:	Will the front and rear cameras simultaneously record video in parking mode
Answer:	It's not really a specialized SD card. You can use other SD cards brands that can go up to 256 GB if you wish to upgrade.
Question:	Do you need 2 sd memory cards for each camera or does the front camera store all data with one sd card
Answer:	At the moment, you are only able to pair your Nexar app with one dash cam at a time.
