Question:	if the engine is off, and this unit is plugged into the cigarette hub, will this unit record when the motion sensor is activated
Answer:	I've never tried that feature, but it would depend on if your Car power socket still works after the engine has been turned off, My car does not keep power in the power socket with the engine off, I think that's to prevent the battery from being run down.

Answer:	I can give you a brief one as I've been using this for a little over a month and don't have the backup camera installed yet (too hot to work on it). For my purposes, it's reasonably good for a sub-$150 camera. The front camera is able to pickup license plates of cars in front (and they are clear) and has a good angle of view. The interior camera enables almost the entire cabin of my Chevy Cobalt to be seen, getting driver, passenger, and rear seats in frame. Note that I rarely drive at night and it's usually under a lot of streetlights so I haven't really tested its night vision capabilities so I can't speak to that. I'm happy with it for what it is as this was my first dashcam and didn't want to spend a lot on it - the cabin and backup cameras are a bonus. I did buy a 2nd dashcam and put it in my rear mirror as I didn't want to use the backup camera all of the time.

Answer:	If camera reboots while driving, that’s an indication of a power issue. Try powering the camera directly, not through the mount, then see if things are stable. Also be sure your using the included 12V car adapter and VIOFO USB power cable or the VIOFO HK3 hardwire kit. Do not use your cars built in USB ports for power or aftermarket cables.
Question:	Are there threads to allow the attachment of a cpl filter
Answer:	Most accessories from the A129 DUO are compatible with the A129 Pro. However, it depends on how old your A129 DUO is. Viofo did make improvements/changes to the GPS mount and 12V car USB adapter. If your A129 DUO was manufactured over a year ago (about), then plan on using the new GPS mount and 12V car adapter that came with the A129 Pro. If you know you have a newer A129 DUO, then everything should be compatible. Won't know until you try though. To be on the safe side, just use all the new components.
