Answer:	Well all I can say is that according with the manual and specification the camera operates between 20 and 60 Celsius. Now I live in Miami FL and believe me this city is hot literally the whole year. So far I never had a problem with a dash cam. This one is with me less than a month and this one is damn good. I purchase another for my wife. The othe thing you can do is create a dark base between the glass and the cámara surface attachment so this base can provide a shade to the camera. For example a very dark tint thick layer of plastic.
