Answer:	No. Menus do not speak. After menu button is pressed, station knob allows access to menu items.Doesn't appear accessible for a person who is blind.

Answer:	The alarm can be set to "Buzzer" (series of beeps) or to a radio frequency (HD stations will default to HD1 - there does not appear to be a way to set the alarm to HD2 or HD3). There are two alarms. The alarm volume starts low and then increases.
Question:	Why are there only two photos of the radio? I want to see more of the radio. Show the power cord connection and the input/output jacks
Answer:	Look on the Sangean web site for a 360 degree view of this and other radios. The user manual is also available for download.

Answer:	Yes, the built in FERRITE antenna is 8 inches long. with 2 windings wrapped 180 degrees out of phase-to minimise signal distortion of the digital signal. The other gentleman is correct about the FM whip antenna. Extended it is 27 inches long. It does EAT batteries! (Get a good AC adapter-not a cheap wall wart.)

Answer:	No. There is a gps adapter you buy that will plug in. Although it does have a map overlay as well as it lets you use Waze if you plug your phone up to the supplied usb cable. So in a way it kind of does have GPS but really just because of your phone.

Answer:	Yes this portable radio receives HD1 and HD2 on FM stations that are supported by HD channel in your area but it does not support on HD on AM broadcasting but the radio itself has the best reception I received on all AM stations that I have in all my portable FM/AM radios. This radio is my best choice so I used it daily.

Answer:	You can set the volume level to your preference.

There is a 1/8 inch "headphone" jack on the side, but the volume adjustment is digital and the lowest setting of 1 is still loud enough that I put the instruction manual over the speaker to dampen the sound even more. I don't know how that will affect the volume through your pillow speaker.

Answer:	With this radio, I wish it was easy to find the stations im interested in., however It took me along time to TRY and figure out how to set it up. This is the third radio I have purchased specifically to get the HD channels and none of them have been easy to orogram and use, Ive researched the different products and I have yet to find one that has the ease of the “old style” AM/FM analog types. It’s the reason I keep my old radios. They are so reliable and easy to use...downsize is the stations are so limited. I would not recommend this type of unit to someone who may have use the very tiny buttons and the written instructions that come with the unit are very confusing. Best of luck with his full recovery

Question:	How do I tune it to hd
Answer:	Just tune it to the "base" broadcast (non-HD) for that frequency, then hit the little up arrow on the left to scan to the next highest broadcast . If there's an HD2 for that station and it's in range, that'll do it. The HD broadcasts do tend to have less range, and for where I am on the eastern edge of the Twin Cities metro (western WI), my favorite station at 91.1 HD2 often requires some manipulation of antenna (what you have plugged into the headphone jack, often actually a line out to a stereo in my case) position to get the HD2 to come in, whereas the non-HD base broadcast comes in strong no matter how it's positioned.

Answer:	i got this radio so that i can listen to it where i live (Manasass Park, VA) because reception down there is very bad. This radio solves that problem. I can listen to my FM station with no static. I recommend it.

Answer:	It’s a very good antenna, but it is just an antenna—you need to connect it to a radio.
Question:	Can i install the 10db or 20db adapters next to the stereo receiver or must they go up by the antenna? do i use on both am and fm bands? thanks
Answer:	Yes you can for FM reception. If your using am that's a special am amp.
Question:	what come with the antenna
Answer:	Antenna (52 or 58 inch rod), wall mount bracket with rubber cable boot to cover F fitting attached to antenna, two 2 foot RG6 cables with fittings for the splitter for FM & AM from the antenna RG 6, plus AM connection from the RG6 to the receiver. You have to supply the RG6 cable at the length you require to be attached from the antenna to the provided FM/AM splitter. Info provided suggested anything under 200 feet there should be no problem with reception. I only needed 25 feet. Premium pre made Digital Satellite RG6 cables can be purchased at WalMart, Lowes, etc.
Question:	Does this antenna accept normal am and fm signals
Answer:	Yes, but must you use the signal splitter before attaching to the am and fm inputs of the receiver. It works very good - mine is about 25 feet above ground to eliminate the am interference from 10 florescent light ballasts.

Answer:	The EAS should be a function of your phone/device and not of the Pioneer system.

Answer:	This model occupies a 2-DIN slot. This model only has an LED screen, and does not support a backup camera.
Question:	to use bluetooth for calls/voice control, does it have a decent built in mic or do I need to wire one and put it somewhere
Answer:	I would recommend using the mic that is given (wired) and place it behind the steering wheel. I do not believe there is a built in mic.
Question:	How is the display in sunlight? Other stereos are so bad that you can not see them on a sunny day
Answer:	Not to bad, it's nice cause there's a lot of different colors you can choose and white seems to be the best for sunlight. One thing I do notice though is that it's difficult to see with polarized sungalssses on. But other than that I don't think it's bad.
