Answer:	The radio's box itself, behind the plastic face/cover/radio-panel is [ 7"W x 1-15/16"H x 4"L ]. In the vehicle where I replaced it, it fit perfectly into this plastic rack, by using slight pressure only w/ no screws required, in the middle of the dashboard, above the stick-shift, where these vehicles (i.e., 1998 toyota camry) typically have their radios & other equipment. However, it came w/ a small metal jacket, about [ 1-1/4"L ], placed towards the face/cover/radio-panel, which adds about 1/8" all around so [ 7-1/8"W x 2-1/16"H ]. In order to install as I just described, & as it was originally installed - this jacket had to be removed, by just pushing slightly on its 2 pressure latches, 1 on each side of the radio, & it slides right out. Good luck.
