In mine, the lip on the box fits on top of a bump in the trunk and forces the speakers to face the back of the car. I think you could set the box in the trunk facing the front but it wouldn't sit the way it's designed to. |

| Answer: | I know I put some Lanzar 12's with dual voice coil's. The speakers are for small enclosures. The speakers barely fit due to the angle being so steep. The voice coil's actually touch the bottom of the enclosure and keep the speaker from mounting properly. The speaker can't go down far enough to get a proper seal, there is a gap at the bottom where air can escape. Hope this helps. |
