Answer:	only if you distort them. If you are after SPL, there are a lot better amplifier choices for subs out there. 5 channel amps are mainly for small systems where a person wants more than stock but not an outrageous system. distortion is the biggest destroyer of voice coils, not power. You are more likely to drive this amp into clipping if high SPL is what you are after. it will run a couple twelves well, but nothing super- maybe in the 130's or so. also if you are running a 2 ohm driver, the 1 ohm output is irrelevant. If you are running two 2ohm drivers then that would be 250 to each driver which is 200 less than your sub can take. get a bigger amp if you want more bass. hope this helps, not sure how many subs you are running.

Answer:	Polk says in their information that it stands up to the elements however I just fried my PAD 1001.1 sub amp (sister to the 4 ch amp). Had the toon moored and it rained all night. Water was sitting on the sub amp, protection light was on. No water was on the 4 channel amp. The sub amp when I pulled it apart had corrosion or green/sludge in small amounts along the edges of the board. Both of these amps were new. I ended up pitching the sub amp but the 4 ch amp still plays on strong! In my opinion the amps MUST be installed in a dry place with ventilation especially if your dropping the ohms down to get more output. I installed this system based on the location of e battery's and the boat dealers advice. It's a much better Instalation that a professional shop and every detail was taken into consideration. So I am not totally confident that this brand is as marine environment proof as they say. I will be yanking it out and reinstalling this and the new sub amp in a place where there is zero chance for water. That said this amp rocks I would highly recommend based on clear clean power. It sounds a lot better than my alpine system in the motor home. My system- marine alpine single din, Polk 4 ch amp running 4 ohms with the senate speakers that are a step up from the 6.5 coax (the crossover in these speakers make a significant difference!!)! PAD 1001.1 sub amp running at 1ohm (1300) watts, and a single 12" wet sounds subwoofer. I have compared this system with some of the larger OE wetsound systems and mine blows it away. I done listen to it that loud but rather wanted a clean and clear system. So buy that amp but put it in a dry place with ventilation. It rocks! Boat is a 2013 Bennington GSR 2550 with ESP.Chris

Answer:	It has dual 4 ohm voice coils. There are wiring instructions that come with the subwoofer. You essentially wire the voice coils in parallel for 2 ohms and series for 8 ohms or wire one voice coil for 4 ohms like I did.

Answer:	I would say depends if you use the item everyday/constantly as your sound for your surround. Or if you use surround/theater occasionally. If the latter I would use `on/off` , if you use it often or primarily the auto would be the way to go in my opinion. Plus is the sub easy to get to? Auto is great if its behind furniture or out of reach,etc.

Answer:	Just to clarify something a previous reviewer stated: "Note: If you are using a Sub out/LFE connection from your receiver turn the Low Pass all the way up. " This does not apply to receivers with which you can specify the low-pass cutover frequency. For example, my modest Onkyo receiver has cutover settings of 80/100/120 HZ for the LFE/Sub output. If you have this option, you should consult your main speaker's manual for suggested low-pass settings or simply tune them by ear. For my setup, 120 HZ was both the recommended and best-sounding cutover frequency. 160 HZ was a little muddy :)

Answer:	Like John, I too have a Vizio 2.0 sound bar and this pairs very well. I have a small theater room (10 x 20) and this one 10" fills the room. This sub is the best bang for the buck you can get.

Answer:	Initially, used a one wire connection. Sounded OK, but .... Got a "Y" connector, attached at the rear of the amp, ran L & R wires to the PSW10: sounds amazing now and very adjustable. Need to get the PSW12 to get a one wire connection. Am very satisfied with this sub and would recommend it. Used in a 12' X 20' room, front/back/center and now the sub. Tom

Answer:	The dimensions sound about right to fit the 2015-2016 front pods. The depth should also fit without spacers. I plan on buying a set for my ‘15 and will post a review once I get them installed.

Answer:	I have RAM mount connected to quad lock adapters on all of my motorcycles. This powered mount has no way to connect unless you fabricate something on your own. Out of the box it is apparently only designed to mount on the quad lock dash and window mounts.

Question:	Can this pair fit a door on a Nissan, that requires 6.5 sized speakers ? If yes, how so ? Thanks
Answer:	You can try to find conversion plates since they are a smaller speaker for the 6.5 inch speaker hole for the Nissan. However, I would recommend that you just go with a pair of 6.5 speakers since they are what would fit without modification, plus the speaker size between the 6.5 to the 5.25 will be better. Better quality, Deeper midbass, etc.
