Question:	does the tape deck still have to be able to play a cassette? The drive doesn't work (rubber band broken) but the radio still works
Answer:	It will require an installation kit. I highly recommend also getting the wire harness adapter. With the wire harness it is not necessary to cut the factory connector out of your vehicle. Answer:	Only for cars that have a cassette player were the side flap stays open. If you are trying to use it for a portible cassette palyer it will not work.

Answer:	I’m going to say yeah ... even though the bottom doesn’t have tape in it it still needs to be placed in there

Answer:	I haven't had this problem with my unit. Make sure the volume on your phone or bluetooth generating device is turned up all the way, as if it isn't, that can result on lower volume from the car speakers.
