Toward the other end of the frequency spectrum, sound waves are very dense and the human ear is hypersensitive to directionality; hence the popularity of 'point source' concentric drivers etc.

Answer:	The requirements of ATMOS (which these have(top firing speakers)) is 8 or 12 foot ceilings. Other than that there is not necessarily any height requirement. You don't want to install these speakers too high - it would probably mess up the ATMOS feature, but I'm not positive on that note. My stands are about 4 feet tall.

So, some elaborate points for your consideration:(A) The Pioneer Elite A-20 is not intended to be used as a power amplifier, so the use of "Analog Pre-Outs" does not sound like a reasonable option ... because you do not need/want two sets of volume-and-tone controls (one on the Onkyo and one on the Pioneer) working at the same time.(B) If you wish to send audio signal from your Onkyo TX-NR3010 to a Zone 2, then (I have not tried but I am reading the Onkyo's specs) your receiver does not seem to need to connect to another amplifier, because the specs say it has, "Powered Zones 2 & 3 (check and check)", in which case you need to run speaker (level) cables. But, if you have a reason that makes running speaker-level connection not an appropriate option, then ...(C) Your Onkyo has (again, the specs say) "Zone 2 Line Out" (which one would think do not go through the Onkyo's volume and tone controls) for which you would need to run the (analog) left-and-right stereo pair of cables (with two RCA connectors on each end of the cable) to the A-20. (D) May I recommend you contact the Onkyo support, to be sure.Hope this helps, and good luck !

I imagine it would get the job done with 4 6x8’s you would just have to take a little extra time tweaking like I did. I’d reccommend it based on my experience, you wont go wrong with the price. If you find out its not for you, Im sure you could sell it and get all of your money back selling it to someone.
