Answer:	I think they should be OK. I've flown with the grandkids (now 7 and 9, but also earlier) and they seem to be happy with these, the older version, or the old standard David Clarks. Key is that the headband has to be adjusted to its shortest setting for a smaller head. Good luck.

Answer:	This headset does have Bluetooth connectivity for cell phones, but according to the manual "the microphone will not transmit unlessplugged into an intercom." I played around with my Galaxy S3, and that held true. Answer:	Actually it seems to be well made. Works extremely well and the cost is good. Only drawback is the mic is oriented to be on the left. It can be spun to the rt side but the headband is not bi directional. If you can live with the mic on the left it’s a bargain and spending twice as much seems foolish. BTW I use it professionally. Lots of use and still like new.

Answer:	Yes it comes with an outdated charcoal mic and soft mic cover. Suggest a newer type headset with an electret mic. Makes a world of difference. H10-13 is the way to go. E. Bay is the wat to go for that.

Answer:	H10-30 is a mono headset with one volume knob. You can only turn up/down the volume for the headset as a whole, and cannot adjust right/left independently. One other thing to know about this headset is that the mic is a dynamic mic and not an electret mic, but you can buy an upgrade kit. I flew with this for years before upgrading to a H10-13X noise cancelling set. I had my H10-30 for about 17 years and after 17 years they still looked and performed like new.

Answer:	Headset mic is not switchable. However, this headset is the most quiet headset I've owned. Barely hear the engine running.

Answer:	I don't know if it works with a ptt switch because I use the one in the plane on the yoke. They work well, I have never had any problem with this headset.

Answer:	Doubtful. Usually large aircraft have a single plug for ground crew. This headset has a dual plug configuration common in general aviation aircraft.

Answer:	It is a passive headset and the passive noise reduction is very good. He might also consider an Active Noise Cancellation headset for rotocraft. That will provide more noise reduction but they are more expensive.
