Location data for the camera would therefore be provided by the cellphone. I'm not sure how you would connect a dedicated GPS unit, however. There are some GPS devices that offer Wi-Fi and Android, but would they be able to download the Panasonic app? Not Sure

Answer:	Hello! Personally I have no experience with GoPro. There must be a hole into which you can screw the camera on the tripod. If thereis no such hole on the bottom of the camera, then it is not the right one. Neither do I know whether all cameras have the same standard size on such holes.

Answer:	Sorry, I’m no help here as the Hero 9 is my first. I should had gotten one years ago. Watch the tiny side door though as mine broke off. I thought is was a slider to open the battery compartment. Camera is unaffected by this blunder of mine.
