Answer:	That's a red flag for me. DJI does not get my money. If I purchase hardware then I expect to be able to use it as I see fit.

Answer:	These answers are only partly correct. The camera has a 1 gig buffer so for long videos it will break them in pieces. You won't loose footage but you'll have to string them together.

Both have waterproof casing and accesories but the real diference between black and silver editions is the video quality (4K vs 1080p) and photography resolution (12MP vs 10MP). Maybe you'd need a floaty backdoor if you're going scuba diving. Hope it helps.

Answer:	You could possibly... at least I think you could (haven't tried it) but will require some work. First, you need to install an "Andriod OS" into a VirtualBox/VMware app on your PC or Mac. Both the Android OS and either virtual machine software are available free. Then, open the Android VM and install the GoPro app. Finally, connect your computer to the GoPro wifi and use the GoPro app within the Andriod OS. I have used both virtual machine apps to sandbox Ubuntu, Lubuntu Certificate Authority Server, Lightweight Portable Security and Android within a Windows desktop with very good success. So, it should work with the Gopro app.

Answer:	I'm told the batteries for Hero 8 are of a higher output to satisfy the demand of recording 4K. batteries with a lesser output might create problem when it is time to record 4K. I currently record 4K all the time and the original batteries from GoPro perform flawlessly. (about a hour per charge at full 4K resolution for video recording)

Answer:	Every other GoPro supports auto rotation so I would assume this one does as well.
Question:	If you took a video in the 360 mode at 5.6K/30fps (for a vlog for example) could you export it as a 16:9 video at the same 5.6K/30fps via reframing
Answer:	You may be able to frame the 360 video it in such a way that the point of view is fixed like the traditional 16:9 video, but it is not going to be an actual 16:9 video.
Question:	If you use it like a traditional gopro, what’s the max resolution at the best stabilization settings

Answer:	You can order them right from Amazon. Most office supply stores also carry them. I use the ScanDisk Extreme Plus in the 64 GB size. You can use any brand but make sure it is a type three. You can tell a type 3 as in the bottom left corner there will be a "U" with a 3 inside the U.

Answer:	I am very disappointed with the battery life. I recorded at 1080p, and the better was done within 45 minutes, if that. The other huge disappointment is if you keep your memory card in the camera, THAT also eats the battery - even when the camera is turned off. I had my battery at 100% when I went to bed, and the next morning it was at 15%. There is no way a memory card should use up that much battery life when the camera is turned off.
