Answer:	My daughter has installed several of these cameras in her business. Answer:	The sync module 2 will still function like a traditional sync module, compatible with all generations of Blink cameras, however, only Blink Indoor and Outdoor and Blink Mini cameras will be compatible with local storage functionality. All other generations of cameras (indoor, XT and XT2) will be cloud based if/when they are added to the SM2. All existing customers who have an account created on or before 4/15/2020 will receive free cloud storage on all devices added to their account going forward, including Mini, and Blink Indoor and Outdoor.

Answer:	Yes, the New Blink Outdoor camera can be added to your existing Blink System.
Question:	How fast do they begin recording after motion? My arlo cameras continually miss cars coming in the driveway
Answer:	The recording starts immediately upon motion sensing. The *Early Notification* Beta setting alerts you within 5 seconds of motion detection, and you can access the Live View from your phone and choose whether you'd like to keep the live view clip. The live view clip then saves for as long as you'd like to continuously watch (which you'll be prompted to do), otherwise, you'll recorded clip will only be as long as you sell it to be(upto 60 seconds) with a cool down of 10seconds between clips with motion. Also, you can toggle whether you want it to stop recording 2seconds after motion end, or allow it to always record for the triggered clip length. I purchased mine mid- December 2020, and it works amazingly.
Question:	How are these different than my Blink XT2 cameras
Answer:	I just spoke with a Blink representative on the phone, he informed me that if you have a blink account activated before 4/15/20 using the older cameras (i.e. XT2), if you purchase the new cameras, they can be added to your existing system and they will be able to utilize the free cloud storage since the account is grandfathered in. The cloud storage paid plan is only for accounts made after 4/15/20.

Question:	what is the return policy
Answer:	You have the Amazon Return Policy so not as if you have to return direct to China. Just don't get frustrated like I did using the manual that came with the camera. Use the Download Program and manual you get from their Dropbox account. I did have a problem getting to that and sent an email direct to the Support people in China. They fixed their Drop Box account and I was able to download the manual and software, and it made it so much simpler than trying to figure out what to do. There is support at Amazon which can help to a point but I would strongly recommend the support people actually install and use the system so they will know what they are talking about verses reading off a script and using the limited resources they have. I corresponded with Joanna at the company and she was very supportive.
Question:	How do you adjust the pan tilt and rotation speed? its not tracking fast enough. How do you make it go back to default position after person leaves
Answer:	If you access the camera through the web interface, in the bottom left corner there are a couple of radio buttons marked Submit, Call, Remove. Right above that is a field called Rate. The rate field is the 'speed' field at which the camera moves. It has limits, but you can set it higher than the default 45. To set a camera position, use the arrows at the top to manually move the camera, then type in the camera position number you want to use to reference that position, and click on submit. To return to a previous position, type in the number of that position and click on call. To remove a previously stored position, enter the number of that position then click on Remove. The camera will not automatically return to it's original position and third party software would be required to do that. I recommend using iSpy, which is free software (has additional features for a small fee). For basic survelliance and recording it is excellent and works with this camera well.

Question:	How much does the Cloud Storage cost after the trial? Doesn't matter how cheap the cam is if the cloud is exorbitant
Answer:	If you think the cost of cloud storage is high, you can view the free image storage or use the SD card to view the playback record. The SD card records a 1-minute video per 1 minute, when the SD card storage space is full, the old storage data will be overwritten (loop coverage)
Question:	None of the photos show a cord. How is this powered
Answer:	This camera comes with an adapter
Question:	Can the micro-sd card video files be read through a usb cable connected to the camera
Answer:	Considering security and privacy issues, the computer can't directly obtain the SD information by USB line. You can view the SD card video by "Review" on the APP, or copy the content of the SD card to the computer to view.
Question:	If audio is not needed does it have to be activated

Answer:	I do! I got this camera for my foster cats, and I use blue buffalo crunchy cat treats with no issue. It will launch a one 4-5 treats at a time due to their small size, but that’s fine since I have 4 cats

Answer:	There is no cat version. You can still use the regular Furbo for cats, but it was definitely designed for dogs. The camera is great, the treat dispenser is awesome, I love the 2 way audio. It's great to check in on your cats. However, I'm finding it will not record my cats. It only records when it sees a person, dog activity, dog barking, or when your dog looks straight into the camera. Because it's looking for dogs, it doesn't register the cats and therefore records nothing, so I can't check in on them earlier in the day. So you can use it for cats, but I'm 100% certain there are better cat cameras out there, like PetCube

Question:	will my using the new sync module with the new outdoor camera and my existing cameras still grandfather me on my storage or use the old one
Answer:	The sync module 2 will still function like a traditional sync module, compatible with all generations of Blink cameras, however, only Blink Indoor and Outdoor and Blink Mini cameras will be compatible with local storage functionality. All other generations of cameras (indoor, XT and XT2) will be cloud based if/when they are added to the SM2. All existing customers who have an account created on or before 4/15/2020 will receive free cloud storage on all devices added to their account going forward, including Mini, and Blink Indoor and Outdoor.
Question:	Will this connect to my existing blink (last generation) system
Answer:	Yes, the New Blink Outdoor camera can be added to your existing Blink System.
Question:	How fast do they begin recording after motion? My arlo cameras continually miss cars coming in the driveway
Answer:	The recording starts immediately upon motion sensing. The *Early Notification* Beta setting alerts you within 5 seconds of motion detection, and you can access the Live View from your phone and choose whether you'd like to keep the live view clip. The live view clip then saves for as long as you'd like to continuously watch (which you'll be prompted to do), otherwise, you'll recorded clip will only be as long as you sell it to be(upto 60 seconds) with a cool down of 10seconds between clips with motion. Also, you can toggle whether you want it to stop recording 2seconds after motion end, or allow it to always record for the triggered clip length. I purchased mine mid- December 2020, and it works amazingly.
Question:	How are these different than my Blink XT2 cameras
Answer:	I just spoke with a Blink representative on the phone, he informed me that if you have a blink account activated before 4/15/20 using the older cameras (i.e. XT2), if you purchase the new cameras, they can be added to your existing system and they will be able to utilize the free cloud storage since the account is grandfathered in. The cloud storage paid plan is only for accounts made after 4/15/20.
